I noticed in my rented house a few bees inside after a rain storm. Looking around I saw what looks like bees building a nest in the roof getting in through a hole in the wood on the second level. No way for me to reach that.

Does anyone have any experience in getting rid of this kind of problem and I wonder how much it would cost. If I tried to spray them it probably would just make them mad and they could possibly come in the house. They could get in through some small holes above lights in my ceiling inside the house. That's probably how they got in after the rain storm.

Call a few pest removal places and get them to give you a quote maybe? I suggest after they're gone to seal any holes!

Im not perfectly clear if you mean you are renting the house from someone else. If you are it could be a problem for the landlord.

See if the lease provides any guidance and if not you can always ask the landlord.

If it is your problem to fix you can either call an exterminator or get a couple of large helium balloons and two cans of wasp spray. and one can of white paint.

spray paint yourself to look like a cloud, use the two balloons to float up near the nest, Give one of your friends a couple of bucks to stand below and

say "tut tut looks like rain" . when you are in position and the bees are least expecting it open up with both cans. Let go of just one of the balloons so you

will have a controlled descent. When you hit the ground, run for your life.

Do NOT spray a bee hive yourself! Seal the cracks in your ceiling and get a professional.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Are they bees or hornets? If they are brown they are bees and I've heard a beekeeper can remove them. If they are yellow and black then they are hornets and they are pests to get rid of.

Biometrics appointment for 2020-03-27 has been cancelled until further notice as all field offices are closed because of COVID-19.

***NOA dated 12/10/2020 USCIS stated they are able to reuse previous Biometrics***

Interview was easy. My hubby's Oath Ceremony is scheduled for February 25th. I can't watch >sad< but happy he is getting his certificate!

Well the guy got in the bee suit, sprayed and sealed the hole. It probably took 15 minutes. I wasn't asked to pay so the management company paid for it. No idea the cost but it's done. It was bees.
