Nice, congrats. You know what I did on travel day? I was nursing the worst hangover I've had. And I mean worst. They say I fell asleep on the sidewalk outside of the bar (it was my bachelor party) and they took turns taking pics with my semi-dead body. And then I went to see my hair stylist, (yes, I have long hair and get it straightened), and she helped me by ordering food for me. I hadn't eaten all day. By the time she was landing, I was somewhat in a better state. Though my eyes were blood-shot for a week or so.

WASTED A YEAR FIGHTING THE DENIEL

MARRIED MARCH 15, 2013

1-130 Approved 3/3/2014 :-)

Finally made it home 3/18/2014

My fiancée is on her flight now. Soon she'll land in Japan, then a couple hour delay, then a direct flight to Portland where I'll pick her up in the morning. Holy cow, it's been almost 9 months, so excited it's finally here! I almost can't believe her flight with touch down here in 12 more short (or long? what if I can't sleep) hours.

Good luck everyone else in their journeys. It's so nice to be at this step in ours.

July 13, 2013 = Arrived in the U.S. (Port of Entry: Hawaii)

August 3, 2013 = Got married!

August 29, 2013 = Mailed application for Adjustment of Status

September 7, 2013 = Received NOA1

October 1, 2013 = Biometrics done.

November 20, 2013 = Scheduled interview.

December 2, 2013 = Green Card received! The letter said they approved my application on Nov 22.
