Which is better:slim or fat spouse?

It appears that many of you think that being fat or slim is irrelevant, yet the slim women are usually eitehr married or have had multiple marriages. And rich men are either married or have had multiple marriages.

The conclusion: Men GENERALLY like slim women and women GENERALLY like rich men. Which means that the slimmer women end up with the richer men most oftenly. [This does not mean the fat women end up with the poor men].

I'm a "fatty". Yes, that's right...a fat girl. I've always been big, yet I was married right out of high school, AND I'm on my second marriage. (kind of throws your theory there) The three years that I was seperated from my first husband, I dated...A LOT. I never had any problems at all meeting and dating all kinds of men. I dated a man who was 6'4" and weighed 145lbs and I dated a man who was 5'5" and weighed over 200lbs. Did they're size matter even a LITTLE bit? No...not at all. I fell in love with my husband because of who he IS, not what he LOOKS like. If you're choosing a spouse because of what they look like, you're going to have LOTS of problems. By the way, here's a picture of me from just a couple of months ago. I weigh WAY over 200lbs. Am I really that horrible to look at?

*laughs softly* You really must work hard to come up with some of the "ideas" that you post. If I were the kind of woman that is attracted to rich men, then my Joel wouldn't be married to me. Thank god I'm not one of those women you referred to as GENERAL.

This is just really ridiculous. I can't believe I'm even answering matako's thread.

It's so ridiculous because

1) you have no idea what you are talking about usually

2) I have many slim friends. And while I am not slim I am married, they are not and they don't even have boyfriends, and they are very pretty girls. It's because they won't settle for crappy men but want someone worth being with. What's even more funny is that many of my married friends are the non-slim ones with men that are deeply in love with them(slim men by the way). In the big picture of life and love, personalities matter more in keeping a relationship together. To think looks will last forever is silly.

3) I'd say hollywood stars are among the most "fit" and "slim" people in the USA, and their relationships are chaos and don't last long. Pretty much proves that looks only make a relationship last so long, then the actual PERSONALITIES of people flow together or do not. They don't stay together just because they look good. Otherwise there wouldn't be so much divorce in hollywood. And they are all rich too, doesn't seem to make them stay together.

If you are more attracted to a slim/bigger woman, that's fine. But to compare which is better in a place like VJ is stupid. But I think you already know that.

Just saw your question, Lisa. I guess I was thinking more of how I, myself, saw them... *to me* I have seen women look more attractive when they were a bit larger than when they lost weight.... maybe for a lot of people thats not the case. I guess as far as being phy. fit if a woman isn't just big boned, but overweight, she's probably not 'very fit'. I should know, I'm one of em! Funny enough though, I can keep up with my skinnier friends just fine when it comes to exercising...for the MOST part! I think you can be fit and overweight to some extent...just maybe not to the capacity you could if you lost weight and toned up. There are some pretty unhealthy, unfit skinny people out there too. M.
