Well, I'm in the middle. Neither party is any good today, and because of that, it's sort of a lose-lose situation. I'd have much prefered a Congress full of Independents, or perhaps, Libertarians.

As far as I'm concerned, Republicans have "lost their way" and Democrats are...well, they're Democrats. That really doesn't need a whole lot of explanation.

But there's no point in whining and moaning about it. The Democrats won the House, fair and square. The Republicans have it had for 12 years, so now it's the other party's turn. Even if the Democrats take the Senate, President Bush can still veto whatever bills come to his desk, so I don't see a whole lot changing.

Personally, I'm hoping -- with the Democrats in some sort of power position now -- that the Department of Homeland Security gets reduced in power some. Don't get me wrong; I'm all for security and protecting this great country, but not when individual freedoms and liberty are at stake.

I'm stoked because the dems are slightly less ####### than the repubs. Also, it gives me renewed hope in this nation that despite the propoganda (and notwithstanding o'reilly fanboys like the op), still has the wherewithall to cut through the bushit.

No paranoid "bullshite". This is simply deja vu for those of us that are viet vets....If you kill enough americans, particularly in front of the western leftist media cameras, and wala, you get exactly what you've planned to get; you get an eventual victory!

here's example of headline last week:

"american deaths in Iraq soars to 10" this week.

Where's the objectivity in this kind of reporting? We have lost less than 10% of the men we lost in Vietnam.

Soars to 10? It's a freaking war for cripes sake! The enemy needs only to continue sniping at our troops for they know they have the likes of Kerry and Pelosi in their corner now.

How about CNN's documentary "broken government"? "Our government is broken, our reputation in the global community is shot"........that's right, America is defective...Sheesh

The enemy has learned from our own history. They know we don't have the stamina to win this war.
