The parts your priest says are negotiable.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Only the first 66 books

Please explain if your answer is genuine.

if by negotiable you mean irrelevant, then..all?

The question is directed to those who have a sincere reverence for the holiness of the Bible and regard the contents as God's Word.

This forum is for discussing politics and religion. I'm asking an honest and simple question - which parts of the Holy Bible are negotiable? For example, why are some parts of the Bible taken as a direct command from God, while other parts are dismissed? If you don't feel comfortable discussing your religious beliefs here, that is your prerogative, but let others discuss it in earnest.

And I am discussing it in earnest. read it for yourself and answer your own question, that is my thoughts to you, in answer to your question. If you dont like my answer, tough. Take it or leave it or look to someone else's answer if you dont like mine.

The parts about the Easter Bunny and Santa Clause, but don't mess with Santa Clause too much, he can be a big angry sky pixie too and give you lumps of coal in your stocking if you are a naughty boy or girl.

in all seriousness, I am not religious, but I used to be, and if I were putting on my former hat I would tell you this with utmost respect - use your head and your heart to determine the answer to your question - the real question, not the one where you want to negotiate, its not about negotiating, keep in mind that neither your priest nor any other man can tell you how to obey or follow the word of your god, they are there to provide you with guidance, but only your god can ultimately judge you.
