Will do, definitely will keep track and update on the casefile. Btw, can I submit additional evidence (like my new born son's picture, more travel records ects..) I mean I rather over prepared since I am dealing with guangzhuo. Thanks

now to the guangzhou.

Yay! (again)

I've been told to wait 30 days before the casefile hits NVC - my local office is Dallas.

Keep us informed if your casefile hits the door before 30 days, aye?

Don't forget - there is optional EP for Guangzhou-bound casefiles, shaves off some dead-zone time after NVC Doc intake is complete.

Very late to the party here, only now have I discovered these 'Filers' threads.

We filed back on October 11th. I'm in the midst of putting together my AOS and IV packages at the moment...

Everything has been pretty smooth so far, though I realise now reading up on some of the processes on the forum that I've lost some valuable time by not being as organised as I should. When the USCIS phase of the I-130 was approved, I waited almost 6 weeks to hear from he NVC, before contacting them myself to get some movement. Now in the AOS and IV compiling, I realise I should have anticipated some of the requirements earlier - I will have to wait about 3 weeks to get a police certificate here in Ireland and my wife's tax returns are not up to date, so we have lots of work to do there.

This probably means we won't be able to send these packages off for another 2 or 3 weeks, so if everything goes according to plan we could be looking at NVC completion in early to mid-May, and then have my embassy interview set some time 6-8 weeks after that. In the meantime, lots of crossing fingers and paperwork panic!

We had hoped to leave Ireland for the US in July, it's looking a bit tight now but I've only myself to blame for not researching the visa steps in more detail

We received our interview date at the embassy for mid May from NVC. Is it possible to verify this interview date at the embassy? How long does it take for the embassy to receive interview dates from NVC?

I am freaking out slightly (im sure for no reason) because I emailed the embassy saying that I had to change my husband´s interview because of a work conflict. They emailed back saying I had to call a certain number to reschedule the interview. Then I realized that I did not need to change the interview (better not to anyway). I wanted to check that the interview was still scheduled for the same day. When I called the embassy I talked to a really dumb lady (who HUNG up on me) who said they never receive interview information from NVC.

Please help with this little freak out!

call DoS Hotline, verify interview date with them, when they are open.

If it's what you expected, do nothing more.
