Thanks be to the Lord because we finally received our NOA2 notice via email last night!!!!!!!! It was approved on 10/24/06. I am halfway there to being with the love of my life!!!!!!! I expect to receive the official hard copy in the mail soon. More stuff to learn now on preparing for the remaining portion of the process but I am so excited I could jump out of my skin! Thank you everyone for all your help through this journey - we have finally reached the halfway point. Take care and God bless and all of you are in our prayers!

1/4/06 ~ Met Online

2/15/06 ~ Got engaged

4/28/06 ~ Visited the love of my life! (The best 2+ weeks of my entire life!)

5/13/06 ~ Had to leave to the US without my love - (no way to describe the pain I felt)

6/5/06 ~ I-129F Sent

6/20/06 ~ NOA1

8/14/06 ~ Touched (response to email I sent stating 'request recieved and will be processed within 30 days)

8/16/06 ~ Touched (email stating letter responding to email was sent) - (after 30 days - still no letter - called USCIS to inform them - they will do inquiry)

9/21/06 ~ Touched (email stating that RFE was mailed to me on 9/20/06 - YES!)

9/25/06 ~ RFE received!!!!!!!!!!

9/26/06 ~ Mailed RFE back to CSC

10/2/06 ~ CSC received RFE

10/3/06 ~ Touched

10/4/06 ~ Touched

10/9/06 ~ Rec'd letter re: inquiry I made 8/14/06-just said I-129F is being reviewed and RFE rec'd by CSC

10/17/06 ~ NOA2 (Touched)

10/19/06 ~ Touched

10/27/06 ~ (Rec'd notice via email on 10/27/06 that NOA2 was 10/17/06 - should be in the mail!) Thank you Lord!

10/30/06 ~ Rec'd NOA2 in mail

11/6/06 ~ NVC assigned new case # and sent to Lagos Consulate

11/11/06 ~ Rec'd NVC letter in mail

11/13/06 ~ Charles went to embassy - got Pkts 3 & 4

2/7/07 ~ APPROVED!!!! MY BABY IS COMING HOME!!!!

2/13/07 ~ Picked up visa at Embassy

2/21/07 ~ My baby and I are on our way home together!!!

2/22/07 ~ We are finally home in the US!

And I get to be first to say Congrats~!!! AGAIN! TWICE IN ONE DAY!! HEHE! :):) I think I am going to wind up getting 2 NOA2's, because I got an email the same time as you, but received an NOA2 with an Oct 19th approval date haha!

March 20, 2006- mail K-1 VISA (certified & return receipt).

March 22, 2006 - Vermont office receives our application.

March 23, 2006 - NOA1

March 24, 2006 - Check is cashed

April 22, 2006 - Receive email from USCIS that RFE is mailed for more information.

April 28, 2006 - Receive RFE in the mail. Need final divorce decree from Andreas.

June 20, 2006 - 2nd RFE (IMBRA)

June 23, 2006 - Received RFE (IMBRA) in the mail.

June 24, 2006 - FedEx IMBRA RFE to Vermont office.

June 27, 2006 - Vermont Office received IMBRA RFE.

July 3, 2006 - Touched

July 12, 2005 - Fedex request for extension for the 1st RFE.

July 17, 2006 - Deadline for 1st RFE.

January 2004: Met Laurent at the Bibliothèque nationale in Paris

February 2004: We became an actual couple

January 29th, 2006: I left France to return to the United States--AWFUL to say goodbye!

June 2006: Finally convinced Laurent that a K-1 visa would be more time-effective than trying to get an H-1

August 1st, 2006: The K-1 petition is finally in the mail and on its way to Nebraska...WooHoooo!! And yes, I remembered to attach the check! :-)

August 3rd, 2006: USPS online tracking shows that my petition (sent certified) was received at the NSC at 5:05am

August 14th, 2006: NOA1 received USPS!! (I-129F recv'd at CSC: 8/4; NOA date: 8/10; last touched: 8/11)

October 2nd, 2006: I MISTAKENLY thought we had an approval...False alarm...Back to waiting...

October 3rd, 2006: TOUCHED!!

October 4th, 2006: REALLY AND TRULY APPROVED!!! Email notification lists 10/3 as the NOA2 date.

Later that same day: TOUCHED...AGAIN! Hope that means I'm in a cozy box and moving to NVC this week...

October 10th, 2006: Received official NOA2 via snail mail.

October 19th, 2006: Case received at NVC!! AWESOME!!

October 20th, 2006: Case forwarded to Paris!! DHL says two shipments were headed that way. Must be in there somewhere...

October 27th, 2006: Received official receipt letter from NVC via USPS.

Congratulations!

I am getting chills, or maybe its just cuz its cold in my office and I am drinking ice water! :P Anyway, half way point... thats what I consider it too. Im happy for everybody thats happy. Everything just makes me want to cry lately. :crying:
