The Dream Act is not going through California or Vermont so it has no effect on the petitions there.

A link, please, to support this? All USCIS service centers are to handle the Deferred Action petitions. My Congressman's immigration liaison is still trying to learn what specific impact the influx of these petitions will have on the processing of "regular" petitions. I plan to attend a function this weekend where my Congressman will be, and maybe I can convince him to write a Congressional Letter that USCIS will not have the discretion to ignore. We all deserve answers.

If you not hear back from her within 4 weeks, suggest you cancel the paperwork (where ever it is, USCIS , NVC or the IV Unit)
