21/SEP/2012 : RFE (Birth Certificate. Notarized copy not accepted).

Anyone know if we'll be able to reach an operator at NVC tomorrow or if they'll be closed for the holiday? We are getting close to two weeks since our NOA2 and were going to start trying to call tomorrow.

No they will be closed. Will have to wait for bright and early Tuesday.

Mothers' Journey (My sister is the petitioner)

September 10, 2013: Sent I-130 (UPS next day service)

September 12, 2013: Received text to confirm delivery

September 16, 2013: Received NOA 1

March 22, 2014: Received NOA 2

April 8, 2014: File Received by NVC

May 26, 2015: Interview (approved)..........now LPR (delays caused by 2 RFE)

might I add...I have read that for proving domicile a letter from my mother (where we will live, also the joint sponsor) is helpful....any template ideas or key phrases I should include? I Imagine that short, sweet, dated, and signed should do the trick?

(for further info...other domicile documents I plan to include are my car title, my teaching license which I applied for/was approved for this year, emails from early this year to and from my mentor teacher asking about job searching tips since I wanted to move back home this year, an email with my local school district about job opportunites, voting registration and records, and some mail sent to me at my mom´s address).
