I would like to throw Jim Kerry into the mix,

Do you mean Jim Carey ? The one at "The Mask" and "Liar Liar" ? well, I actually like him better than Robin Williams. I think Robin Williams is okay, funny but not hilarious...

I haven't seen too many Robin Williams movies, but the ones I saw (One Hour Photo, Good Will Hunting, Awakenings, Dead Poets Society, Good Morning Vietnam) I LOVED. Loved the movies, loved Robin Williams. But yeah, I'm not really up-to-date with is movies.

I really dislike Jim Carrey, but will give him credit for The Truman Show and Man on the Moon & Eternal Sunshine. Was awesome and I really hate admiting he was excellent!

I am definately NOT a Jim Carrey fan, yes he has made me laugh, but I dunno...there's just something that doesn't grab me about him, yanno?

Jim Carrey? Well, he's MENTAL for a start..... :D You can see the real instability bubbling under the surface...

Mrs Doubtfire? I really enjoyed that movie...especially the bit when he throws a bit of fruit at Pierce Brosnan..."drive by fruiting!".

I actually enjoyed was Mrs. Doubtfire as I thought it was a great movie for kids going through divorce, but even that wasn't really that funny.

This was a favorite movie in our house as well. My oldest son informed me about one month ago that they are or have filmed a Mrs. Doubtfire sequel and it will be out next year. The boys are excited about it and I am like wondering if he will be able to pull it off after so many years?

I have never found this guy funny. Thought I was the only one who felt that way.

I liked RW in Mork & Mindy,Happy Days & Laugh In.

& his movies Patch Adams & in Good Morning Vietnam

One of my Favorite Movies Good WIll Hunting RW stars a sa Counselor who helps an intelligent troubled matt Damon. Awesome Movie! not a comedy but a lot of substance.

On the comedy side He has since taken a downturn but some of his newer movies he plays different roles, One Hour Photo & Insomnia with AL pacino he plays darker roles. What about the The Big White another darker comedy with Woody Harrelson kind reminiscent of Fargo

Robin Williams is a very talented cator, has dreid out a bit but Ialways look forward to his movies.

other than Ace Ventura 2 and Liar Liar Jim Carey is painfully annoying to watch!

Steve Martin, Robin Williams, Chevy Chase ( Martin Short  )

what good times!

I agree that Comedy era was great, my favorites:

Steve Martin: The Jerk, La Story, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Three amigos

Chevy Chase: Caddyshack, Fletch series, Dirty Work, National Lampoons Vacation & Xmas vacation,Memoroirs of Invisible man, Three Amigos & of course his SNL appearances

Bill Murray: Caddyshack, What about Bob, Groundhog Day, Scrooged,Meatballs

although they co starred with some of my favorites. I do not care too much for Dan Aykroyd or Rick Morranis
