Anyone watching today's games?

I'm rooting for England... but my team is Italy. I'd like to see them go against each other, since my best friend (and maid of honour for my wedding) roots for England LOL. It's always fun to have a bit of a rivalry :)

Outstanding goal by Zlatan Ibrahimovich.

Too bad it didn't matter as far as the rest of the tournament goes, but at least my countrymen went out in style.

In other news, the Ukraine got cheated in the England game. They had a ball cross the goal line but the referees somehow missed it. Am I the only one who thinks they should start using goal cams like they do in hockey?

I hear it was a great game between Sweden & France. Wish Sweden had moved on instead! I'm not a fan of French football.

I agree about the goal cameras. They were discussing it on TSN (our sports channel) after the game, and it completely makes sense. Though, as they were saying, the play was offside anyway, and it should have been called long before it actually came down to a goal...

I'm definitely looking forward to England vs. Italy on Sunday!!

Italia will destroy anyone in its path to glory

Something tells me this will be the game to watch. Italy have the more skilled players, but Englnand are unbeaten without playing anything like consistently good football. If England get it together, they will score goals. Bring it on!
