BIN stands for Beneficiary I.D Number. I barely see using this number during the process though... It might be internal use for NVC....

Still no update on the new 864W for our daughter. Is NVC backlogged or is NVC VERY backlogged? LOL

According to operator I talked to at NVC tonight (I got a good one, heh heh), he said that NVC is "exceptionally overloaded" right now, and to anticipate up to triple the normal processing times. Ouchie!

I hope they get your daughter's case squared away soon though :star:

AWWWW... i got wifi at the house so everytime we came home id check out my VJ. but everytime i try to post something someone always came to see us or we had to go somewhere. sometimes vacation is more work than a job it self.

Called NVC almost 15 minutes ago with more than 13 minutes on hold.....little bit frustrated....little bit upset...little bit discourage and little bit with HOPE....

Finally heard the Good news from NVC representative......INTERVIEW is scheduled on July 10th 1pm......Wow...... :dance::dance::dance:

Email is on its way.......Can't Wait...... :rofl::rofl::rofl:

BIN stands for Beneficiary Identification Number. It's used for online forms (DS-261 and DS-260).

It took me exactly one week from CC to interview date assigned

Thanks for asking the operator, and for passing that along. It's not surprising, but I'm still sorry to hear it. My NOA2 date was May 10, so I guess a bunch of us are stuck in the backlog together--may we all be out of it soon.

Hey Saylin my birthday is on Oct 10 also!!

I tried to do the DS-261 today and it would not let me. I called NVC and they said it wasnt ready yet because how i just got my case number today. So how long does it usually take for the ONLINE FORM PORTAL to give access?
