That be your Opt-in acceptance email, but it's worded a little different than the one I got. Did you perchance send it twice?

Ya, you could have got them at any time, but it's not too late now! The thing about us older folk, we kind of misplace that kind of stuff when we are out of college and we don't need to prove to the world we aren't carrying some strange exotic disease.

And you're welcome.

Funny story I told Shell today over vaccines...

When I was 19 and had the oldest Biggle, I was given an MMR booster. When I was 21 and had the second Biggle I was given another... when I was 26 and had the oldes Little they wanted to give me ANOTHER ONE! I finally asked "Doc, how many booster shots does a person need?!" "Why" so I explained it to him. "oh, your blood titers don't show an immunity to the Mumps" Oh.. that's just Great! About three years ago I woke up with a fever, felt like ####### and my face hurt! Not sore throat hurt, but hurt every time I ate or drank anything, my jaw would ACHE like crazy. After two days I went to the doctor.. guess what.. I got the mumps!! at 31!!! So now I'm finally immune to it! And now at 35 I'm immune to Mono, thanks to my 8 year old that dragged it home.

I only sent the OPTIN once.

I'm "older folk" myself! Turning 45 this month! My Mum and I moved A LOT when I was a kid. I have no idea what happened to my vaccination record...don't ever recall even seeing it!

Oh dear! Mumps at 31! AUGH!!! At least you don't have to worry about THAT (OR Mono) anymore! :P

OH FORGOT THIS: That is what my first opt-in email reply looked like. I sent another and got the usual opt-in acceptance email the day after the second one was sent.

"Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your correspondence.

This case is now enrolled in the Electronic Processing Program.

The additional email addresses submitted with the enrollment email were added to our records"

It was horrible! I looked like an over stuffed cheeked hamster for two weeks! I was pretty sure the strep throat (caused by the Mono, which is no longer contagious) was going to kill me last week, but I survived. Little is pretty much over it, but she's still really tired and naps after school. I still have the headaches and want to sleep the day away. Mr. Sheeshka was really worried I'd give him Mono... I should have let him sweat it out for the two weeks :P

I just sent a second opt-in e-mail. Got the auto-response from NVC, so I'll see if I get the acceptance e-mail in the next day or so. Will probably also call NVC and ask about it.

Oh, Sheeshkabelle! Poor YOU and poor Little!! I hope you're both feeling 100% very soon. I've never had Mono, thank goodness, but I know it can take quite awhile to get over and not feel like sleeping all the time. LOL about Mr. Sheeska! Should've let him sweat it out!

Okay, thanks for all the advice and info. Now it's time for the furkids and I to get to bed! :sleepy: Sweet dreams everyone!!

Hi Saylin!

Your march NVC thread helped me A LOT!!!

I was reading again everything and I saw about AOS bill, you say that it's 88,00 USD per case? What do you mean?

I'm going through the CR-1 process with two children (stepchildren of my husband - the petitoner) and he had to pay just one AOS bill for the three of us! I wonder if it changed now that the IV fees decreased the value...

Three barcoded coversheets were generated upon payment, and three AOS packages mailed, but just one fee satisfied the three cases.

BTW, I hope that the IV bills were 230,00 USD when my hubby paid them lol

Well, I hope that everyone can have their interview dates scheduled asap, this whole thing feels a lot better after that!!!

Good luck guys!
