Event Description
Review Date : July 17, 2012
Embassy Review : So my interview was on the 10 of July 2012 and my husband took 5 days off from work and came.We went to the interview and I was the first to enter the building while my husband was ask by the security to wait and enter at 8:30am since thats the time for citizens(he looked sad).More poeple were called into the room and I was the first again to call to a window

1.I was asked by the lady to submit all documents I was submiting and was asked to remove them from the file so I did just that and she gave me some of the NVC documents and asked me to sit and wait.

2.I was asked by the gentleman to take my finger prints and after that asked me to sit and wait.

3.I was called again and at this time, my husband made it into the room so he was by my side and the lady interviewed me after the swearing 1.when did you meet? 5th April 2010
2. how did you meet? Through the internet
3.have I been married before? No
4. Do I have any children? No
She typed some few things and told us all was good except my police report which bares my husband's name instead of my maiden name and gave us a week to bring it. Even though it was not denial, we were sad but pulled ourselves together and went for the police report that same day. My husband left for the States and on the 16th July I went back to the embassy where I met one of the VJ family members and his family. They were so lovely and when the time came, we went into the room and when I was called to a window, I gave out my passport and the police report and she return some documents and told me to come on the 17th of August for my passport and visa. I asked her if that means we are approved (i just wanted to here the word approved i think)and she said yes. I was so happy that all I wanted was to run out of the room and I think she even reapeated herself twice about not to make any travelling arrangements before I respondent saying ok and she laughed. I run out and waited for my VJ family members and they came out with the approval and same pick up date for them too. This could not have been easy without God and VJ. VJ thanks very much and I wish every one the best in Jesus Christ name.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
