Why would someone move a question about a K-1 interview

to the Russia section?

IT IS NOT A RUSSIA SPECIFIC POST!!!

Really, I have been reading this site for 5 years and

never understand why these moderators do some things.

Or why the same genius's/idiots always want to be

condescending to other peoples questions.

If you don't have advise or a good answer, don't post!!

My question is simple and important (to me) why move it

where I won't find an answer??

From reading your other post - it does have an answer on it. A good one.

Also there is a fair amount of country specific issues with it. Asking what to bring to an interview / how to deal with the embassy of the country. If they need certain documents. Many other countrys do not need the same things or follow the same guides as other embassys.

Yesterday someone asked questions about the papers needed for interviews in Ireland ( in the K-1 thread) and someone posted a response as to what the Manila Philippines embassy needed. That is of no help at all to the person because they require totally different papers and procedures.

Actually it IS. You asked about what to do for the interview in Moscow, that would be Russia. The K1 forum is for the petition side mostly, you wanted embassy specific advice. It could have been moved to the Embassy forum or Russia but for more country specific advice Russia was the better choice. As Inky said people often don't check the country and assume it's a "one size fits all" situation. This isn't true. What works for Russia is different to Australia, which is different to UK, which is different to the Philippines.

**Edit - Also out of interest, she is your fiancee (2 e's) and she is apply for a K1 visa. A K2 would be for children of a K1.
