I don't even want to give him the luxury of sending him back to his own country. Like how about sending him to China to one of their reeducation camps, or to Siberia maybe. Let the southern boy enjoy some winters up there. That little f'ing scumbag weasel...

How dare anyone trifle with, let alone mistreat, a magnificent rubia.

I agree with others above that you should call the County Sheriff for extra support. If the District Attorney is worth anything, he might be pleased to receive a call about a "slam-dunk" conviction if only an arrest is made. If he can add a deportation to the conviction, it's an extra feather in his cap.

Agree 100% with rlogan about the know-it-all "professionals" who stated that this could all be worked out. I said then and repeat now that you're a lot better off and are probably feeling quite a bit better about yourself despite the drama, si man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Im really shocked at your story. i am really sorry for all you had to go through. he is a heartless person that does not deserve a woman like you. he Of Course! does not know the meaning of love and does not respect a woman. I am dominican, and trust me, im super embarrased. it makes me think about my relationship although we've been together for years,. it still gets me and i put myself on your shoes. i believe you are a strong woman, and God has something special waiting for you.

It's true that we never truly know a person until they are here, living with us....but when the relationship is wrong, it's wrong. There were some signs before he came here but nothing that would have made me change my mind about him coming. I was really hopeful and determined to make it work .... but God didn't want this to happen and I know there is a good reason why I had to /have to suffer.

I have been telling my husband about "that man" you marry and we are so disgusted that he is a Dominican. Pero que idiota ese tipo!!! :bonk: You are going through a lot and no one can understand how you feel unless they are in your shoes, but I admire your courage and how you have handle yourself. You are a classy woman and deserve someone that would appreciate you.

Thanks luv! Some days are really rough....and then other days I feel so empowered. But I compare today to the day he left, and I've already progressed so much so I know it will get much better as time goes on. And maybe he isn't really Dominican...maybe he's a rare animal species that hasn't been discovered until now! lmao

Good job holding to your guns, maybe go to county sheriff or attorney general office if local LE fails you.

That's my plan. I'm looking into something on the higher end of the hierarchy. Eventually, someone is bound to help me. This can't be the way law enforcement works. And if it is....this is when I would be ashamed to be an American.

WOW! Do not dwell on the weakness but celebrate your strength. I highly suggest you set up some sort of a hidden camera somewhere, in case he decides to break in, or worse, attack you again. That way you can gather visual irrefutable evidence of his chauvinistic wrath. That man is toast and he knows it.

Good luck!

I am actually looking into this. I'm planning to purchase some surveillance very soon. Its god to have anyway, and in this case it will definitely help me.

Yea, he is definitely catching a plane back to his country....how soon is the question.

Been following your story. Thanks for sharing. I'm so sorry this all happened to you, but wow.. Way to stand your ground. You have all my respect and support. I agree with bigdog, if local PD fails you, contact the county sheriff.

Oh, and btw, as we all know, immigration isn't exactly known to be fast. But they do deliver. He'll be forever banned from entering the country sooner or later and have plenty of time to think about how he tried to scam the wrong woman.

You may be as disgusted as I was to know that, immigration actually told me that (well before the criminal charges) he would be deported IF they caught him AFTER the 2 year residency has expired, and then he would be free to marry again and petition or petition for a travel visa. I was shocked. There's a lot about this ICE, deportation thing that is NOT in the favor of the USC. What I'm hoping for is that, since he's obviously really great at screwing up, he will continue to do so, on a higher level, and get imprisoned and then deported.

I'd love to hear from the "professionals" that were preening about their "bona-fides" in the last thread that were SHOCKED at the suggestion of leaving this manipulative #######. Was the violence enough for you professionals yet, or would you prefer that she had been killed before you admit to being wrong?

hahahahaha......you know, I've thought about that thread many many nights. I've never gone back to read it again because some of the things were troubling to me that people wrote or suggested. And although I believe in "honor and cherish", "for richer or poorer", "in sickness and in health".....I believe in safety and LOVE more that anything. I really wanted to be a great wife and honor my husband and work out whatever had to be worked out....but it takes 2 and he was NOT interested in being in the equation. I've realized that some people are still "old school" when it comes to relationships and marriage, and although I have some "old school" traits that I believe in, being abused or manipulated is not one of those things that I will put up with so I can have a man in my life. I've seen my family go through that, grandmother, aunts, etc.....that's not for me.

So yea, I agree.....there were people pushing to give him a chance, but my radar was in the red, because I knew it wasn't a good move. And having been in a very long and extremely violent relationship before, I knew there was NO way he would change. ;)

You may already have done so, but if not, you may want to visit the local women's shelter or call the local DV hotline, if there is one. If the local police have been so brutally bad in responding appropriately to your calls, the local shelter will have experience with this, and can help you a) document your case and b) may have some suggestions or protocol for getting the police to respond appropriately. they might also be able to make use of your experience of being dismissed by the police as part of a larger effort to get police trained to respond correctly to domestic violence calls. it takes many women and men saying that the police are not responding appropriately - lawfully - to DV calls to get any change implemented.

Thank you - I actually work for an amazing hospital which has a large police department, comprised of different levels of law enforcement, mainly state police. They have been extremely helpful and are providing me with tons of support, escorts, daily updates, etc.... We email each other every couple of days to keep ongoing documentation about what is going on. The main concern now is, since I work in Boston (live 30 miles away), Jensy's father had called me last week sometime to apologize and say that Jensy was planning to move to Boston. Yea, that would be great if I didn't work here!!! So, the police have his photo and are always on the lookout. I truly hope to GOD I never have to pass the embarrassment of him coming to my job...but just in case, they are prepared here. We also have a DV outreach program here for employees that I am hesitant to get involved in, mainly because I still feel like I can get over this on my own.

Well, his father is helping him, I'm sure, but on the other side, his father has built a good name for himself and his family, and Jensy's actions are damaging that. What he's trying to do is ship him to North Caroline, where Jensy's mother lives, to get him away.

oh wow. i am sorry to hear this but i am glad that you are safe and didnt take him back. i am dominican and it just a bad image of the kind of people coming from there. no man should put their hands on a woman. there is no legit reason at all no matter how piss he gets. i pray that you find love again and this time that its true. dont give him none of his uscis info. call them and see if you could withdraw your petition

I didn't and don't plan on giving him any of his documents, although the lovely police said "just give him his stuff"...SMH

His GC hasn't been produced yet, and I hope that I can stop that from happening on Monday when I go to the InfoPass appt.

I don't even want to give him the luxury of sending him back to his own country. Like how about sending him to China to one of their reeducation camps, or to Siberia maybe. Let the southern boy enjoy some winters up there. That little f'ing scumbag weasel...

And yes, I'm going to raise all holy hell in order to get what done what should be done. They don't put in the effort because people don't push the issue. But I am vocal and I will push it until there's not more to push.

As far as the "professionals" .... well .... if they want to get the #### beat or be treated like trash, they can enjoy, but I'm too good for all that BS. The drama is tolerable....but his ridiculousness was not.
