I know it sucks waiting but, you really can only wait. It is not late until the 5 or 6 month mark. I guess you can consider yourself as just 1 of the 10% that hasn't gotten approval yet. As long as your petition is filed proper;ly, all the forms and evidence is included and signed and there are no ted flags, you will get approved. Sorry, I know the wait now is torture but, that is all you can do. Good luck

Stop!!!! Looking at others timelines can be torture. I understood that there would be wait of 5-6 months between NOA1 and NOA2. It was frustrating, I thought I would go crazy, I wanted to scream! But it wouldn't have done any good. Remember, this is a MARATHON not a sprint. Find a way to sit back, relax and enjoy the journey.... it's a long one. Thousands have successfully done this before we did. We will get through it.

I KNOW the wait is torture, and you fall into a total depression without your loved one.

Look at my timeline, I got my NOA1 August 4th, and just got my NOA2 yesterday. Do not freak out because you are not late. It just takes time:( (L) We are sadly all in a similar boat:(

Hang in there! At least the adjudication process is proceeding at a significantly faster rate than last year at this time. The number of petitions filed December - March is typically less than any other time of the year, so as long as VSC keeps enough adjudicators on the K1s, with a little luck, the approvals should continue to roll in for everyone.

well you got 2 choices... 1) you stop worrying about it and just get on with life and wait until the day comes where you get approved... or 2) you give up and walk away... not really much of a choice is it??

I actually haven't heard of many December petitions receiving approval yet. Quite a few Novembers have been coming through. Maybe 90% of October petitions for Vermont Service Center at this point. But I would think March would be the month for December petitions based on what's been going on. Maybe a few January petitions will slip through in March too. But hang in there. I would certainly think by April you'll have your NOA2. This is the slowest time of the year for receiving new petitions at the service centers (between the holidays and the winter it's all in your favor), so the approvals should continue at a decent pace as long as they keep enough adjudicators on K1s. And hope for a little luck too. I know the occasional petition seems to get screwed over..but this process is far from perfect. we just have to live with it.
