I mean as a scam, why would you sleep with that person at all. There would be no "accident" either. but again I am not a scammer so I can't tell what they are thinking in the first place. Having a baby to solidify a scam is a selfish lack of consideration for the life of the baby. Where's the genuine love in that.

I think mostly, they think the immigrant is the scammer, not the petitioner. You can get into a relationship or marriage in good faith and your spouse won't be doing the same. That's how the government see it, you know?

Not really. A lot of very young people make decisions they later come to regret. Carry on. Just know, as you asked in your first question, that this will not help your petition in any way.

This notion is not tied to age but to their experience and development. You would be hard pressed to prove the age number caused the lack of good decision making. But yes this issue should be dropped since its irrelevant to this thread beyond that I will not tell you my age.

Thank you :) However your case was already a bit easier. US and Canada have a great relationship and there is not a surge of Canadians try to escape their homeland (that I am aware of).

While I agree that Canada and the US have a better relationship, this thought process that you have is the problem. You think that having a baby will make your case easier to approve because it makes your marriage seem legit

The CO is not emotional to your case. People sleep with people all the time who are not married and often not even in love. It is the situation of our world

Focus on the other aspects that make your marriage strong and solid - regardless of children

Good luck

We do want a baby either way. Just would have been nice to prove the relationship too. But you are right, there is a lot of immorality and bad things in this world, hence why the process to get into US is so long and challenging. We are paying the price of the bad actions of others around us. Sad but its how it goes. The US and Pakistan wouldn't even have such a bad relationship in the first place if those Islamic militants weren't there ruining the name of a beautiful religion with their actions. Sometimes everything seems really depressing, but children are a light of hope in this world and we do want one regardless.

Oh but it is tied to experience and development, and those are hard if ever won by the young. And we have seen it countless, innumerable times, right here on Visa Journey. This very question is asked a lot, and it is often tried, with sad results for the future of the child. It is clearly your decision. You've made it, whatever anyone with experience, or common sense has tried to advise you. By all means, proceed.

That is all very subjective of course. The number of times are completely countable first of all. Second of all I highly doubt you have followed those people around to see the future of the child. Third your judgment that the future you supposedly did see is a sad one is, again, very subjective. Frankly, you do not understand my religion nor do you have any idea how well I can or cannot handle a baby. So your self proclaimed experience and common sense bear no weight here. I have not asked advice on how well I can raise a happy child.

The only thing you need to think about when bringing a child into the world is if you are providing the absolute best possible environment for this child to enter the world in. Clearly your love is strong, that will be there now, in 2 years, in 4 years, ...

Ask yourself...are you? Is having your husband away for an undertermined amount of time, in debt, and unemployed the best possible envirnment for your baby?

If yes, then only you know. Bur don't do it to 'prove the relationship' I am sure you have plenty other evidence to do this correct?

Good luck

No of course not. I was not arguing that in any way. However I do think that if you are trying to commit some kind of fraud, that you wouldn't be having a baby with that person.

You'd be surprised at what people would do to have their hands on that magical green-card. If you can deceive and marry for love, what's one night of pleasure that results in a child?

A child together will not swing the CO's decision, one way or another. A child proves that a couple had sex without contraception -- it doesn't add or detract from the legitimacy of the relationship.

As Nermeen pointed out, it's the intending immigrant's motives that are being questioned, not the USC petitioner's intent.

Speaking from experience as one who petitioned while pregnant, I'd recommend you wait until your spouse is in the US to get pregnant. Anything can happen during a pregnancy, and even a normal pregnancy is miserable to go through alone. It may seem to you now that you can handle it with him being several thousand miles away, but once those hormones start coursing through you, feelings change. Don't overwhelm yourself needlessly. Good luck.
