Did everybody receive their biometrics appointment letters? I still didn't receive mine :( It's been 2 weeks since NOA, I know, it's not too long, but I'm a little worried.

i got mine a few days after I received the NOA. my case was 'touched' on the USCIS website on the day before the biometrics letter notification date. why not give them a call to find out if they have sent out your biometrics appointment?

Check your NOA. I believe 2 weeks is still within the standard timeframe. From what I remember the NOA states that if it's been more than 30 days and you still haven't received the biometrics appointment letter, then you should call the service line.

Thank you both for your replies! This morning we actually received the biometrics appointment in the mail! They scheduled it for December 6th.

Have you checked if you can drive with your country's DL? Some states allow that.

why would you say that ? does it matter if it gets transferred to CSC ?

Usually, yes. You may get approved sooner and maybe even without an interview!

Still no biometrics notice for us.

The cases weren't touched at all until yesterday.

Got an e-mail last night that our case was transferred 'to another office'.

Can you not drive on your Swiss licence? I am driving on my UK licence.

In another thing... I had my Bio, been transferred to CSC but my EAD hasn't been touched since 10/19/11.

I got a 'false' RFE notice in email but nothing in regular mail and both my cases are Initial Review. Should I talk to USCIS or just forget about it for a while.

David.
