Good luck to us all for a quick and easy AOS process!

My husband and I are going to get our AOS filed either today or tomorrow.

Really stalled, but filed my i-485 and EAD, figured I don't need to leave the country until I've earned some money to be able to anyway!

Went for the Biometrics this morning and checked my status online - my i-485 has an rfe coming it's way to me :(

Start of relationship

??/07/2008 - A random Skype message came through to me from an American girl

14/02/2009 - After months of talking, the American girl flew over to me - I knew we were meant to be

18/08/2009 - I proposed to her on Brighton Beach, UK

K1 Journey

15/07/2010 - We finally put in the i129f application - after shortly considering me going there on VWP, marrying and trying to Adjust Status, but was too risky

03/01/2011 - NOA2 on the day Dawn returned to NY after spending Christmas with me

10/02/2011 - I visited NY for 3 weeks (let this hold up the K1 process)

28/02/2011 - Medical

29/03/2011 - K1 Interview at London Embassy - Visa granted!

01/04/2011 - Visa in hand

Next Stage

03/05/2011 - POE in JFK - can't wait!

04/06/2011 - Our Wedding Day :)

I got my AOS NOA 1 this past weekend, which makes it a week or so after filing. Biometrics letter came yesterday.

Dec 16-25 sounds ideal, but do you think they will close around the holidays and I'll have to wait until early next year for them to sort it out?

Did our scheduled Biometrics today at the Fairfax ASC just 5 minutes from our place.

The place was empty so there was no wait, in and out in no time. :energy:

Too bad the visit to the Japan consulate in the morning wasn't so easy. We walked in during a fire drill and had to wait almost an hour. The icing on the cake? Parking is over $4 for each 10 minutes there. :bonk:

The Mister and I just sent in our AOS application (25/26), so we probably will not hear back until early November. Would this mean that we are October or November filers? Best wishes to you all!!! :)
