It took us a long time to finally send the AOS paperwork but I got the three text messages today!

I really hope our I-131 is approved soon since we want to visit Tokyo for New Year!

Here's to many more months of checking the USCIS site and seeing that dreaded "Initial Review" status everyday! :lol:

Looks like not many October filers here, so hopefully we will zip through the line! :lol:

We had our wedding Ceremony last Saturday and my wife's family, aunt, and friend's family came to Los Angeles!

Now the big wait for the I-131.... :sleepy:

I'm also an October filer.

I mailed my package off on Saturday (8th). On the 10th the USPS tracker updated a message saying notice left, package couldn't be delivered (3:55am October 10th). Which caused me to cry my entire Monday because there was an issue when I was sending off package. The USPS put a green card (signature confirmation) card on my document, scanned it and THEN explained what it was for. I told her I did not want that service as it was going to a P.O Box, so she didn't start the entire process over, she just took the card off. I left the post office feeling quite uneasy.

After bawling all day Monday, Tuesday morning I checked the tracking system again and it said "DELIVERED" at 10:55pm October 10th sooooo I was happy about that part but won't rest until I get a notification from INS saying they've received it.

Will keep you guys updated. I also want to wish everyone the very best of luck.
