Before the interview, then ask you questions so see if you are lying.

Hopefully if you were having the conversation you would be able to answer the questions truthfully and honestly, if they did ask you anything.

Do they strictly just ask you questions on what they read from the chat logs or something?

I didn't include any details of my chat logs - just the dates/times. We will see what happens there. I don't want to have them prying into my personal life.

I was never asked about my chat logs or emails.

This immigration process is unfortunately all about "prying into your personal life" ... pretty sure the US government knows more about me than I do.

You need to get over this way of thinking. They are entitled to pry into your personal life because you are asking for a privilege and they want to make sure you aren't going to abuse that and to make sure you're good people.

She's right. The fact that you are able to reside with your spouse is not God-given, but rather a humanitarian area of discretion on the part of the United States.

However, chat logs really don't prove anything since they can be easily faked. There is a thread or two on here saying that district directors themselves say they have almost no weight. If it's bugging you, send something a little more concrete--like a life insurance policy.

Just a question... doesn´t it say that you can cover the parts of the conversation that you don´t want them to see? I have read that in the list of the documents that can be presented to show that it´s a real ongoing relationship, and just my opinion based on what I have read, to show that it is an ongoing relationship you do not need to show the whole conversation, just that there has been communication between you and your fiance/fiancée during the time you have declared you two has been in the relationship.

I also think that the chat logs can be easily faked, so I think that could be a good thing to add some screen shoots of skype so they can see that your chat logs from skype and what they see in the pics of the screen match... just an idea :)

I don't need to 'get over' anything. Excuse me! Many people have sponsored their SO without providing personal chats. My fiance and I are good people. We are both teachers. We have clean records and abide by the law. They don't need to know the types of things that are between intimate people. That is none of their business. They can find out whatever they need about me or him, and they will not find a shred of some type of deviant person. This has nothing to do with personal conversations between us. Not only that, we communicate by telephone. Are they going to tap my phone?

Your spouse is from Morocco, this is a high fraud country. Don't be surprised if they want more info.

No-one says it needs to be "intimate" chats. But you will show phone records.. and that's all? You really think that will be enough? It might be but your issue with what you consider "personal" is what you need to get over. This process is not built to preserve that. It can get very invasive. Including if you get a Stokes interview they CAN and WILL ask questions such as when you last had sex, what birth control you use, favourite position etc. This is to prove a legitimate relationship, not to get their jollies off. Failure to answer these questions, or answer them the same will result in a denial.

Jeesh. You are way ahead of yourself. I am prepared to do what they ask, however I will not give more information than they ask for, and I will not put myself in a situation, like some people in the Morocco forum, who have provided chats, only to have them used against them. If they ask, I will provide. Until then, I will wait to see what they are requiring. I don't need to get over anything. That is your presumption. I am well aware of Casablanca's reputation. I have nothing further to discuss here.

I sent my fiance an abundance of proof of our relationship, but he is the one who suggested printing out all of our skype/chat conversations, and even finding a way to print our text messages. Even though we have some very personal messages, I told him YES! Let's print it all! I don't care what they read between us... if it means that it will help bring him here, I don't even care if they follow us around for the first few years.
