Everday someone complains about the wait time....EVERY DAY!

Did you read the guidelines that it may take 4-6months? That is just to get your NOA2. Then you will wait another 1-2months for your NOA3. Then depends on your consulate that your interview MIGHT be how many days?

Relax!!!!

I am going thru the same process....I never called my rep....why? cause I was within the guidelines.

Call after 6 months and 1 day that's what I did. I didn't use a Senator or a congressman they started working on it right away. I then got an RFE 3 weeks later and 3 weeks to get it approved 7.5 months. They say 5 months is the normal processing time +1 month and then 1 day so they can't say it's still in the time frame.

at my 5 month mark I did a service request and 21 days later no response yet I emailed them and I got my congressman involved and kept calling USCIS. I dont know if it helped but on monday the people at the congressman's office said they had sent a letter to VSC and next day tuesday I got my approval. Also the friday before my approval I had called USCIS requesting an expedite and asking for new info on my case.

I think USCIS is as efficient as any other government office. No more or less. It is just the matter of dealing with the government. By default, you do cannot expect much. Have you ever dealed with DMV? I think USCIS much more efficient...

There's nothing any of us can do to help; but most of us understand your frustration.

I just got approved but I remember exactly how you're feeling. It's like you know you are so close and now every day you're anticipating a possible approval and each day it's disappointment.

I wish I had an answer for you but all I can do is try and encourage you to hang in there. You're time is coming soon. You can try contacting your congressman and senators. It might or might not help, but it's worth trying.

Hang in there and let us know when you get that NOA2. We'll all celebrate with you.

Keep strong. It will come.

Don't forget that everyones case in different so you can't judge the speed of other peoples cases. Some people have 'simpler' cases and these are probably easier to approve.

Good luck and I wish that your approval comes soon! :)

I applied at CSC in November, and everyday I checked the processing times I saw December and even January and February filers being processed ahead of me. I was annoyed, despairing, and obssessively checking that list. Finally, I got approved. I didn't have to wait quite as long, but I can say you DO get processed and it will be a great feeling when you do. Then you can start worrying about everything that goes along with the next step. Hang in there!
