Everyone should stop acting like big babies

I do not get how you all are supposed to be adults. Everyday I read a new topic about someone who is waiting. Most are whining like little babies about how long you have to wait and it is your right to get processed right away etc etc. Some people even start crying after only 2-3 months.

I don't think the staff at the service centers are working slow on purpose. Most likely there have been a lot of applications coming in and we have the the straight up fact that Americas economy is very bad right now. So I don't think they are putting their last bucks on hiring more staff to help our love lives.

It's a few months of your lives and then you will hopefully spend the rest of your lives together. Relax and just remember what you are fighting for.

These same jackass chimps have screwed up the immigration process so badly we have millions of illegal immigrants all over this country and they can't figure it out! These same imbeciles who have all but destroyed this country by running our national debt into the TRILLIONS!

Do you really think that George Washington and Thomas Jefferson had any idea that at some point the Federal Government would decide who a free loving American can marry, love and build a family with??? Seriously, they would have fought for the Red Coats!!! Good GRIEF!!!

If you want to call me self-righteous then sure. I don't mind. But I would prefer to read about topics that actually helps people. Not every third subject that is about how long it's now been. I guess I'm just different who doesn't love to read the exact same thing over and over and over. We all know this takes time but no one seems to accept it.

This is why there is a separate K1 forum for process related questions and one for progress related topics. So the supposed 'whiny' threads should be in one place. Just talking out loud here, but maybe just avoid that forum?

Sometimes people need to vent. An internet forum is an easy place to blow off some steam and maybe get some support from people going through the same thing. A post here and there might not change the situation, but it might make someone feel better about it. No big deal in my book.

Have I told anyone how they should feel? I don't think so. I think this whole process is a pain in the #### too and I don't know how often I cry about it. But the constant whining does not help anyone!!

What's interesting is that last week Vermont was kind of busy. And then yesterday both places did about the same. I thought there had kind of been a positive mood here lately.

It's a few months of your lives

Actually it has been quite a lot more than a few months for us and our petition hasn't hit any real roadblocks. If you can be separated from your spouse or fiance(e) for even a few months and remain stoic about it then good on ya. Some of us aren't so stiff upper lip as you and for me personally every one of the 331 days it has been since I last saw my wife weigh heavily on me. Of course when you are further along in the process and have no end in sight it is nice to know that you won't be complaining about the "few months" that you have been apart.
