Yes

Remember the K-1 is not a "get to know you" visa. Sorry you jumped the gun with that.

Would you like somebody to say this to you when you remove those rose coloured glasses stuck to your ego? That was mean Baron. Knock it off.

Well Dogspot already posted what needed to be.

He himself told someone that it isn't a get to know you visa, yet he did the exact same thing with his current wife.

For the record you will need to include the case #WAC etc. the date of the receipt of your NOA1. Both you and the beneficiarys name and date of birth.

PUT IN BOLD LETTERS KEEP IT SIMPLE I WOULD LIKE TO WITHDRAW MY PETITION FOR her name then everything else. I mentioned above.

Hope this helps send it certified mail return receipt. Save everything including a copy of the withdraw letter. If you ever file another petition your going to be scrutinized for this. I know I've been there.

Sorry for your situation, I am sure you are making the best decision for you at this current time. It is best to send in the letter to USCIS now than always second guess yourself should you have wen through with the process.

Then you heard wrong. It's the US Citizen's petition. If they withdraw it, that's that.

In my case I thought that it expired. After I began filing for my current fiancée, I realized that I could only file once within a 2-year period. What I did on my application was I sent them a withdrawal request for the first one along with the emails that showed that I had broke things off. I also included another letter asking for a waiver. I thought this would complicate my process and hold things up, but I had my application approval in like 19 days. We are human and we make mistakes. In my case I probably pulled the trigger too soon and broke off the relationship prematurely, but at the time I thought it was the right thing to do. I am happy I did, because I have someone that is more compatible with me.

Here is the link I used to help in writing my cancellation: Withdrawing a K1 Visa Request

I hope this helps and good luck

Im in a situation where I might have to have the app pulled.

At this point Im still searching for answers from the other thread. But, If I pull my current application, will it become a problem to refile with the same beneficiary if I have to start over again?
