Embassy Review : we had our interview on 9/9/11, we got there around 6:20 am and we did not wait long we stood in line #3 and a lady came out asking for the ds 156(the original and a copy) forms and the appointment letter, she put the #40 on both my fiance and i and 5 minutes later we were let in( we were 2nd on the line). we were then redirected to line #40. they gave us a brown folder to put the information on the list and after we were done we had to go up to her once again and show her all the paper work to see it it was correct. she said everything was fine and we had to wait for a while until we got called to window #8 in where my fiance turned in all the papers she asked if i was there and to write my first and las name. we had to wait again for a longer timer until he got called to window #2 for finger prints. at last we both got called to window
#5 in where the consul asked my boyfriend to pick up the phone she asked how we meet, when was my las visit, and this time around when had i arrived. then she asked me to take the phone and asked where we were going to live, where i worked, and who the co -sponsor was the she told me our VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED!!!! and to go pay the domesa. i was so happy i passed the phone to my fiance and said were approved!! we kissed i cried we hugged and we paid the domesa (57,000 colombian pesos) and it will be here in 8 business days. we were out of the embassy by 10 am i seemed like a linger time because the wait is nerve racking and it was very cold and rainy so dont forget to take an umbrella and a good jacket ...best wishes to all im so happy and i will have my baby here for my b-day on the 25th whooooo
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
