What is with this use of Avatar BS, this woman is in desperate times and some would like to debate the use of her Avatar!

Herolmounia – Feel for you, your situation is one you need to get out of regardless of consequence. As another poster has suggested, seek support from one of your faith to help guide you out of the misery you have found yourself in. Based on what you have stated, it appears there is no where for this to go other than lower. While I would hope your husband has a wake up call to respect you and your marriage, I am guessing it is unlikely and that things could get worse than they are today. Hope you find the faith to do what is right for you and your baby.

Sad story

That's a sad story :(find a job, take care of your baby, and im sure God will help you with the GC and with everything.I'll pray for you!

Awww.. I'm sorry this happening to you. I can relate to your story too.. My husband is a drug addict too... I know how it is like to find your love on porn sites, dating sites..porn at home..no money. I went thru this recently.. Started to be abusive. I couldn't take it anymore one night i called the police took him to jail. We got restraining order for 1 year. During this time he went to anger menagment classes, attended AA meetings, went to the doctor and got himself pills that suppose to help in drug addiction and for bipolar disorder... He was clean for 7,5 months. Relapsed once <thank god> Today he is been clean for 3 months. He doesn't attend AA meetings anymore. He stopped taking pills (without doctor approval) And he is going crazy again and abusing me... I have no hope for better anymore.. My advise is to leave him people like that never change. Do it for the best for your son and for yourself.

Mounia, where do you live? Can you speak with the MIL and ask for her mercy, even if she does not treat you that good, it sounds like she does want the best for the baby. Ask to live with her until you get back on your feet.

Pray for you sister, and wish Allah is looking out for you.

Erase the image on how you thought your life would turn out- and start living the life you are living!!

From what it sounds like, your husband most likely did not make enough and needed a co-sponsor to get you here. If that is the case, the co-sponsor should help you and is legally required to help you until you become a citizen of the USA.

I don't think the CPS will take the baby from you because you are a good mother as long as you get away from your husband.

Get away from that loser! Most Americans are not like your husband. Get a man worthy of you!

Good luck!

My dear, I'm very sorry to hear about your problems with your husband. I would like for you to take a quiet moment and re-read your letter. to us. How many chances did you give him? Count them! As someone who has worked with drug addicts, which he appears to be, I will tell you the stories, the abuse, the emotional pain will continue until he goes into a drug treatment center. I am assuming he is American??? Did you ever ask his mother, anyone in his family or friends if he had a previous history of doing drugs? Therein lies much to what action you should take. I am suspecting he tried to stay clean when you first got married. He may have been doing drugs the times he slept in the living room and you didn't know it. I'm hearing from your letter he has a very serious problem. There are shelters for women who are abused and they take your child with you as well. I do not think the government can take your child if you and the baby are in a safe place. They are experienced, very very experienced, with cases like yours and they will give you good advice, keep you safe, feed you, and counsel you. Honey, you are a victim of spousal abuse. It sounds lilke his mother can do nothing with him as well. You need to get away from him before you and your child are hurt or separated. Look online for an organization who takes in abused women. If you can't find it call your county mental health system and ask for a number of a place where they abused women. He will not change without rehab and even then who knows because we don't know exactly what drugs he is taking, do we? He doesn't tell you the truth. I don't know your history, but if his mother is here, I just assumed you are Moroccan and he is American. Good luck and may God help you in your decisions and protect you.

:crying: I'm so sorry about what you are going through.. the drug thing, I think you need to leave him alone.. try to seek a shelter, your church(mosque), you can call the ssa at 1-800-772-1213.. I work for them.. once you get through to a live person, tell them your situation and ask them to look on the referral screen according to your zipcode and see if there are facilities there to help you.. you HAVE to take care of you and the baby.. the man will have to take care of himself before he can even think of taking care of someone else... he has to get himself straight.. he may seriously want to but all these other things going on he will have a hard time doing.. when you're on drugs, the drug IS your priority, nothing else matters.. I pray that God will continue to help you and your baby and that NO ONE will take your baby away from you.. that's YOUR child.. do what you have to do for them.. God bless you!!!!! (F)(L)

Where do you get your information....? Her Husband is Required to help her. CPS can take that child away.. it's more than getting away from the husband.... Hello she aint working ... she aint got no place to grow the child... she's on welfare... she cant provide. Dont you see..? She was dependent upon the US. Citizen who took her here who then fell short..!

Seek advise from your case-worker, I am sure you have one since you did deliver your baby in a US hospital. Your baby is entitled to wick, seek the help that is readily available to you. Go to a women's shelter and get some aid.

Mounia,

Your situation really saddens me with a heavy heart. There must be a safe house for abused women near you, and they allow children to come with their mothers. The nearest Mosque or Church facility would probably help you find one. Please do not feel ashamed to go and seek help there. I know some churches have a benevolence fund to help with situations like yours; ours has helped so many. Is there a Mosque or Church you can walk to?

I want to acknowledge your spirt through this. Your willingness to go to work and be a good mother to your child is exemplary! From your letter to us, I saw your wanting to be responsible for the rent and bills, and the desperate need for food and care of your baby. Plus, I loved the fact you ran off that dirty drug dealer who sat down next to you and your husband in the mall! Good Girl! That was courageous in my eyes. :star:

I will pray for you and baby until I see your next post that says, "WE ARE SAFE, WARM, HEALTHY and PROTECTED" ..... because I believe God will cover you. :innocent:

From my heart to yours,

Mari
