We got another letter in the mail today, this time from our local office in Portland. It said that our request for reschedule has been received, and that we will receive a new appointment notice in the mail when a date and time becomes available. When we go to our infopass appointment on Monday, I wonder if they'll think it's silly that we went to that infopass appointment when we already got a letter from them confirming our request to reschedule. But I feel like it's good for us to still go, we're hoping they'll let us just be interviewed for AOS then. I kind of doubt that will happen but we can still ask. The worse they can say is no. :P

We were also approved our interview was around 15 mins (although did not really look at my watch to time it). The security officer that greeted us was way friendly. The Officer conducting our interview - not so much, Very serious and down to business. But everything went well, we'll be looking for her new green card to be arriving within a month or so.

Congrats mailbox4me!

We had our interview this morning too! It lasted 5 minutes, if that. We were asked for none of the documents we brought with us. No evidence, no pictures, nothing. He already had the 'you are approved, here is the info about removal of conditions' paper printed up with today's date on it. 5 hour drive each way, and a night's stay in a hotel for something so short. Worth it though!

Thank you! My husband just got his GC in the mail today, and is also trying to find work still. I filed the 129F on May 26, 2010, and his GC came in the mail on May 26, 2011.. kinda cool :]

Congrats to you too, Rugby7!

Hello everyone, I thought I might as well give an update, it's been a while since I posted here. So when we went to our infopass appointment on May 9, a lady working there told us our interview would be rescheduled like it said in the letter they sent us. I asked if we could do the interview right then and there, but she said no. But I said that was ok, we are just glad we were able to get the interview rescheduled. As we were getting up to leave she told us to have a great time on our honeymoon. :P So we went on our two week honeymoon to Hawaii, and it was great. I'm so happy we were able to reschedule the interview and we didn't have to worry about it anymore. Now we are just waiting to get the USCIS letter that will tell us our new interview date.

Congrats to everyone that got approved during their interview!
