Also, our AOS notifications have been going crazy since we got approved. On the 21st, we had the first text/email saying it was approved, then a couple hours later another saying it went back to decision. Then on the 22nd we got another saying it went back to card production (that one was at 2 in the morning, NOT the best thing to wake up to in the middle of the night! What gives, guys?) and another one on the 24th saying they sent us our approval letter. Someone's a little too happy at CSC, but as long as it keeps saying the AOS is approved, we don't care. But NO MORE 2 AM texts, USCIS! :bonk:

Before Journey:

Met online in 2002 as friends. Fell in love in 2005. Got engaged in 2010.

K-1 Journey, January 2010-July 2010:

NOA1: January 29. RFE: April 21. NOA2: June 4. Interview: July 15. Visa in hand: July 20. POE: July 22.

July 24, 2010: Married in front of 150 of our loved ones on a beautiful, sunny day. Living happily ever after and oh so thankful that 5 years of a long distance relationship and 7 months of a visa process is condensed into one line.

Wedding pictures! Because I'm shameless. http://s956.photobucket.com/albums/ae47/AmeriDaneWedding/

Adjustment of Status Journey, January 2011-March 2011:

January 25: NOA1 for AOS and EAD. Feb 5: Bio appointment received. Feb 7: RFE. Feb 11: Sent RFE response. Feb 23: AOS transfered to CSC. Feb 25: Biometrics. March 11: EAD approved! March 19: Received EAD. March 21: AOS approved! March 25: GC in hand!

And we'll live happily ever after.. for the next 2 years, anyway.

Kinda of glad right now I dont have a cellphone :) I had 4 notifications yesterday and overnight re the Green Card but they were all emails only :D

Same here, I didn't sign up to get texts, just emails. Works for me. :)

Weescotlassie, congratulations on the job! That's amazing you got a job so fast! I hope my husband gets that lucky when he is applying for jobs. :P

Well I just got an email from USCIS this morning saying "we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION." Even though I put in my VJ timeline that my husband's EAD was approved yesterday since we got the email yesterday morning saying that his card was put into production.

When I first saw the title "USCIS" in the new email this morning, I was hoping it was going to say that our case was transferred to the California Service Center so we wouldn't have an interview. I guess it's a little too soon to get an email like that anyways.

I was concerned about how long it would take to get our EAD approved, but reading all your posts i feel confident that it wont take long at all. most of you got approved around 30 days after your biometrics. My wife done hers on Mar 9. And March is a long month ^_^ and weve been praying so i quite confident we should hear something within the next week and a half. Thank you all so much for you updates and posts. It helps the rest of us get through this process. ^_^

Congratulations! That's super exciting! Are you the first of our Jan filers to get offered a job after EAD? If so, awesome! :)

We got his greencard in the mail today! Card expires on 3/17/13.. sounds good to us! What a way to celebrate St. Patty's Day. I love the details on the card, especially on the strip on the back.. they definitely go out of their way to make sure these can't be counterfeited so easily.

Wow, so many of you are getting a green card already. That's great. I really wonder if my husband will get his AOS approved without an interview... All we have to do is wait and see... That's awesome though that my husband's EAD card has been put into production. I wonder when he'll receive it in the mail. After he gets it, the first chance we have we're going to go to the DMV with it and see about getting him an Oregon Driver's License. :)

Thanks Lohninck.. It looks like I am one of the first jan filers to be offered a job after EAD... After having many people tell me that I wouldn't find work here.. If you want something bad enough you will make sure you go out your way to get it.. Just glad to have a skilled trade behind me as there isn't a lot of people who do it. I know even back in the UK it was hard to find people there to learn this trade.

Anyway congratulations on the greencard... Bet you did the little dance too?:thumbs:

Haha, yes, we definitely did! My Mom gave him a big ol hug and everything.

Whereabouts did you live in the UK? I'm gonna take a guess and say Scotland ;P I lived in Newcastle for 2 years and would visit Scotland every so often, but it seemed like Scotland came to visit us more often than that! Lots of stag dos in Newcastle city centre, I lived right above a pub so never had a quiet weekend for 2 years straight, haha.
