The Texans looked good yesterday. Starting to hold out real hope for a 6-0 start to the season. It took the sting away from the horrific SK loss in the CFL.

Derek Anderson did a decent job yesterday for the Cardinals. It was an ugly win, but a win nonetheless.

Wait until the big game.

Looks like the Browns didn't do any better with Dellhome. He does that against KC and we'll see Seneca Wallace starting, which may not be such a bad thing.

Kellen Winslow proved that he's still a child.

TAMPA, Fla. It turns out Tampa Bay's season opener against Cleveland was more than just another game for Kellen Winslow.

Facing his former team for the first time, the Buccaneers tight end came out of the tunnel during pregame introductions carrying a Bucs flag and ran over to the opposing sideline to wave it in front of the Browns.

Winslow spent five sometimes tumultuous seasons in Cleveland before being traded to the Bucs in 2009. He said during the days leading up to Sunday's game that the Browns were just "another team" and that he's happy to be in Tampa Bay.

There was no visible reaction from the Browns, who were shielded from Winslow by a group of volunteers who were on the field to unfold a large American flag for the national anthem.

It wasn't the first time he's been on the field and no one noticed. TJ Ward played like a Pro Bowler in his first NFL start and shut him down. One of the few bright spots for the Browns so far.

Detroit was robbed, but they've been robbing their fans for a long time now, so they're used to it.

The Lions were robbed :(

I disagree. The rule is the rule.

So often we think of "one play" that determines the outcome of a game. But, games are hardly ever won or lost on one play. I can see them possibly changing the rule next year, but the Cowboys got clowned at the end too. Regardless, that doesn't excuse either team's poor performance the whole rest of the game.

Texans looked really good.

... in the CFL.

Game 2 on the ole' schedule. I know Josh Cribbs and Jerome Harrison have that date circled.

Fast Facts

December 20, 2009

Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, MO

• Jerome Harrison, who entered Sunday with 301 rushing yards, had the third-highest rushing yard total in a game in NFL history with 286 yards.

• Cleveland's Josh Cribbs joined Ted Ginn Jr. as the only players to have two 100-yard TDs of any kind in the same game. Cribbs also set an NFL record with eight career kickoff return TDs.

• It was the most points the Browns have scored since Week 6 of the 2007 season when they scored 41 against the Dolphins. The teams combined for 908 yards of total offense.

• Cleveland won two straight for the first time since 2007.

• Brady Quinn has won his last two starts, throwing for less than 100 yards in both.

• Matt Cassel threw for a season-high 331 yards with two TDs, but the Chiefs lost their fourth straight.

Don't feel like bragging Sir Charles?

09/19/2010

Fast Facts

• The Chiefs started 2-0 for the first time since 2005.

• The Chiefs have scored as many TDs on returns (two) as they have on offense (two) this season.

• Seneca Wallace threw a 65-yard TD pass, the longest by a Browns QB in three years.

• The Browns saw their three-game home win streak come to an end. • Last year, Browns RB Jerome Harrison rushed for 286 yards against the Chiefs. Harrison was held to 33 yards on 16 carries in this game.

I've decided that the Browns need to hire Morgan Freeman to give the speeches for them. Here's this week's speech from Glory. Jerome Harrison can be Denzel Washington's character. Every time he fumbles he gets a backhand from MF.

Chiefs are not all bad. I've got Jamaal Charles (KC RB) on my fantasy team - no complaints there.

Then again, I had Matt Cassel as a 15th round pick for backup QB - and promptly dumped him for Michael Vick.

My fantasy team is 2-0.

The Bears are 2-0.

Life is good.
