Hey folks I am preparing my package and I am attaching proof of my relationship and I am including email trail and a whole bunch of stuff but my question is how do I put it all together? I have 2 years worth of email and the email trail is pretty long, so should I put it together by paperclips or should I just put the individual sheets since they have to go through each sheet anyways?

Paper clips would be just fine... Keep each evidence separate, makes it easier for the person reviewing your files and put it in order from the most recent date

Ok thanks! So is there a limit on emails? I have two years worth so I thought about spacing it out and sending them emails trail of every 5-10 days would that be ok. If I send them more than that I will be sending a BOOK..

Lol no there isn't a limit on the amount of evidence you can send....just make certain you have some variety. No don't space it out left them get tired of looking at evidences... Hopes of quicker approval and belief of a bona relationship

Well if evidence is what they want then they will GET. I mean we have tons of emails so I guess I just space them closer together every few days, plus I have phone bills from 2008 all the way thru now, plenty of pics, plan tickets of yeah and a BABY GIRL. LOL now if that doesn't do it then I don't know what will..

Is Panama a particularly difficult consulate? If not, I wouldn't even bother with emails. Technically, you could have made two email accounts and emailed yourself for a few years! I think the phone bills and other evidence you have are enough that unless this is some really strict consulate you would be ok with them.

Is there someone who has been through Panama that knows?

Unless you're dealing with a difficult consulate this type of proof isn't necessary until the interview stage. If you want to include some anyways just try not to overwhelm them because this could mean it takes a lot longer for your petition to get read. Just make sure you are including primary and secondary evidence that you've seen each other within the last two years.

I'm also in the process of gathering evidence for my first I-129F submission..my friend GJen :D suggested to me to just do a screen shot of your inbox for all the emails; then just send actually one email from each year. We both are doing this process for Venezuela though..So I don't have specific advice on Panama..I just thought his idea was good because it would save you the trouble of redacting all those emails and for them having to read them all..you can always bring more print outs for the interview stage.

Best to have as many pics as you can, even at the interview my fiancee did not submit one email nor email records, but if that is your main proof than give them all you got!

we don't really email so this is one reason why, we video conference on Skype a couple times a day, again I can not speak for the embassy's in any other country than England, but I asked her if they asked for emails at the interview and she said no. She said it was almost like it was approved before the interview. Be thorough in you paperwork and make sure you know the small stuff about your fiance/fiancee.

You do not need proof of relationship for the I-129f. Only proof of metting in person. That said, paper clips are fine. Everything you send will be dismantled and put in the order they choose.

My hubby and I when doing our K1 visa I had sent in every months phone log history and emails from the the beginning of our relationship to present day. I didnt send everything but it was quite a bit. When my hubby went to his interview I sent the rest of our phone logs and emails. I even sent screen shots of a game that he and I played every single day showing our characters and such with notes of how we communicated on game ect. :) Good luck to you and the more the merrier. At his interview he looked at the screen shots and commented but he didnt read every email but he did flip through them.

It's better not to underestimate any Latin American or South American consulate, so include a reasonable number of e-mails (plus screen-shots of all) to convey the firm impression of a bona fide relationship, si man. USCIS will not care about this evidence, but sending it with the K-1 petition ensures that the consulate will receive it & cannot deny its existence. Be sure, however, that none of your e-mails (or screen-shots) refer to either of you as "husband" or "wife"! All of the real world would understand, but embassies & consulates are NOT the real world, no man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

This is good advice. Every consulate is different, and I would therefore heed the advice of someone who has been through a Latin / South American consulate (Ideally the consulate YOU will be dealing with).

London is a notoriously easy consulate to interview through, and therefore front loading (and even excessive evidence of your personal relationship at interview stage) is not always required.

Not content to only +1 this post, when you're sending lots of evidence, you want to be sure that you aren't shooting yourself in the foot with what you send in, like in the example given by TB above, but make sure there isn't anything ELSE which can disqualify you, even in a joking manner. Also, I'll bet that the people who have to read everything you send in would prefer that you keep it PG....
