Event Description

Embassy Review : The interview was very very short like 15 minutes. The first he asked for proof of marriage and proofs to support our living together. I didnt have much as I WAITED to long to get his Social security #. I thought we had to be married and have our marriage certificate. That was totally my fault. Anyways so I explained this to him. As soon as he would ask us one question he would interrupt my answer with another question. He asked that my husband show his keys to the house. We are about to move (buying a house) and so I never bothered to get his own house key as we go everywhere together. which I explained with interviewer interrupting saying what if he wants to go by himself to the store and I laughed and said Sir do you know where I live? I live in the desert and I know he's (hubby) not going to be going out side. The next question which floored me was about when my hubby was visiting in the US last year in May. He asked us if we had sex the first night. Because I was on that fast grueling answer thing I immediatly told him yes (which is true) but later I was thinking OMG this guy asked us that. Anyways my husband was over in the corner turning red and the guy was like the first time you meet him you have sex with him and then my husband said, well we had known each other a long time online and I already knew I was in love with her. Then the interview leaves the room to make some copies and this other guy walks in looking for him. We told him he went to make copies but He kept walking to the desk and looking at us and then walking behind us I thought out the door but then I would see him again during this time My husband and I were just talking about stuff and hes going baby dont get mad at him its ok cause he knows how i am LOL..(we thought there would be more interviews) then we were talking about random dumb couple stuff And I guess I was sleepy cause my hubby is picking the sleep out of my eyes..I got up early and we had to leave fast and we really didnt get much sleep the night before, anyways this guy is still doing his thing behind us I guess I knew he was there I wasnt really paying attention. I actually dont know what he was doing at that point for a minute I thought he was like doing something like this http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/kicking.gif behind our back. Anyways our interviewer comes back is filing out this form in red ink and me reading upside down sees it says conditional green card and I knew right then we got it. He then explained it to me and when to file to lift conditions and we walked out of there. All in All the interview felt like 15 minutes but it could of been longer. All in all I think it better prepared me for the "real" interview. Also my husbands work permit came about 3 days before his interview so we couldnt even scurry to get his SS# I'm giving the rating a 3 because of the grueling however we were approved
Harassment Level : Moderate

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
