Hey Everyone -

Oo look at us go!

We are waiting for Montreal to send me the p-3! I went yesterday for a tetnus shot. Does anyone have clear idea of what immunizations are required..realize don't necessarily need them for the interview but for aos; and would like them done. However i have found 2 different lists' of required shots!

Help anyone!

Congrats everyone

Thanks

Congratulations to all those recently approved. Things move pretty fast after you get approved. To those still waiting, we have you in our thoughts and prayers. Best of luck. Any interview dates yet for April fliers? Fiance is still to pick up package 3 at the embassy.

Do you get a letter from NVC saying they have your case and that it has been sent to the embassy? I'm guessing you.

Does anyone know why the NVC would have my file for over 2 weeks? I see for most cases that the NVC only has the file for a couple of days. I have called a couple of times and they keep telling me my file is receiving some additional processing. What could that additional processing be? Does anyone know?

It's hard to say. You should try calling them to find out; they seem to be very cordial and helpful.

I did call and they only can tell me that my case is receiving additional processing. That is it.

As far as I can tell, the tourist visa would be the fastest route to go. Since one of you is a U.S. Citizen, there are the other immigration visa types, but I doubt you'd be able to get one before the K-1 period is up. If you do decide to go the tourist visa route, you might be able to include a copy of the NOA1 or other pertinent information to show that the reason for the visa application is clearly for the wedding.

Hopefully others with more experience in this area will chime in. In the mean time though, it's probably wise to start to put together the necessary information you'll need for the tourist visa (if you decide to go that route).

I have a question if a case has been denied, and the 2nd one is approved. do they use the deniel case to send to the embassy also?
