Oh my God, like who cares about like hearts and boxes and stuff? That's like so stupid. I think anyone with three or more hearts must be like a total loser.

If you haven't noticed you have three hearts. LOL I think I have 4 hearts, but I have been a member for over 2 years. Now if a person has three or more hearts and has been a member for less than a year I might agree with you.

Yeah, I know, I was just being sarcastic and stupid. :lol:

It is perfectly ok to be silly and post one liners. You can do that all you want. What I mean is if people go on an annoying rampage that is clearly done to disrupt the forums. I would prefer that threads are not just 100% single words unless it is something meaningful or tricky. Like for example lets make a thread where you have to say a word next that includes the first and last letter of the previous word.... something tricky and fun. Not just typing a word for the sake of typing a word. I am not sure what I am saying makes sense but I hope you get the idea.

i never did understand the heart/post count fascination.

i think it must give some people a purpose in life! :thumbs:

It worked for me... I worked hard to get my first heart and it worked perfectly to make me think of something else other than the visa. :blush:

interview: SEOUL

MArch 21st , 2005AR for special security clearance,washington

May 18th tranfer case from Seoul to Islammabad

June 21st security clearance done

June 28th online at the embassy in Islamabad

waiting for paper transfer and the good word

OCTOBER 14TH 2005 Interview Number 2: ISLAMABAD, PK

AR number 2 sent to DOS per Islamabad (2 cable request)

Nov 22 okd updated financial and etc proof accepted / embassy waiting for security cables

dec 20th one cable back waiting on 2nd

Jan 17th.. good word recieved. SECURITY CHECKS ALL CLEAR!!! DOS says embassy to contact him within two weeks!!!!!!

FEBRUARY 10th, 2006 VISA RECIEVED!!! They called him In via phone, stamped his passort and sent him on his way!!!

FEB 28th WELCOME HOME>>>POE CHICAGO did not even look at xray, few questions. one hour wait at Poe

march 10th marriage (nikkah at the islamic center)

aug 2006 AOS interview, cond 2 yr GC arrived september

June 2008 applied for removal of conditions on permant residency aka awaiting for 10 yr greencard

Dec 2008 10yr green card approved, no interview.

I think post whoring is really stupid...I'm actually quite embarrassed by my post count (and yes, I have no life other than work-home-occassional night out-lather-rinse-repeat) I don't understand the fascination with getting hearts, and I would be more than happy if you took some away, lol!

There's a diff between post boosting, and say, Jasman. He seemed like a really nice guy & I wish he'd come back

Someone took offense to me only posting smilies but the real problem was that I was spending all my time on VJ, kind of addictive behavior so I decided to take a power for a few months. Now I don't feel like I have to post all the time and, after reading what is going on with visas and the like, I am not the expert I was three months ago.
