Interview experience

left home at 4:30am

got to the embassy @6:30am line was already long @6:50 they start to check us off making sure we have all that is required to go inside and making sure we didn't have what was prohibited like cell phones and weapons etc. I was #9 but wasn't call in that particular order. Sat and wait for about 30 mins for the first lady to call me to the window, fingerprint was done, hand over the medical and was ask 2 questions by her.

1. Have you ever been to the US? YES

2. Is any other family member coming in for an interview today? NO

Told to sit once again and listen for same number. Waited for a mere 10 - 15 mins then my # was called a white lady this time, soft spoken young lady she was and very nice too.

Question she asked was:-

1. Is your husband here with you today? NO

2. Have you ever been to the US? YES Why this question again

3. How long do you know your husband? 5 yrs hello

4. Does he have kids? YES a daughter

5. With you YES

6. Is she here or in the US? Here waiting on me got her visa February

7. How often you see your husband? Every 3 or 4 months since we met 5 yrs ago

Then i heard the words i wanted to hear from i reach the embassy your visa is approved take this ticket and go arrange for delivery.

They didn't even ask for any further evidence, i guess the questions about our daughter said it all.

Yes lord all that hassle is finally over the long wait with that backlog paid off.

I was in by 7:00 out by 8:00

The earlier the better I guess.
