Well I have just sent our I-129F off to Cali. So I guess the waiting game now begins. Let's see if I have everything I need to deal with USCIS.

1. Antacids (For dealing with Service Reps) - Check

2. Case of Booze (To steady the nerves) - Check

3. Foam Bat (To beat the computer with when our status does not updated fast enough to my liking - Check

4. Hair Piece (To hide hair pulled out) - Check

5. Patience - Nope

6. Sense of Humor - Check

Anything else I am missing??

Good Luck to all who are going through this process, and here's to seeing our SO's as soon as possible.

Dave

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

We're in the same boat...sent our 129f last week of April so its the WAITING GAME for the receipt....seeing everyone elses take a couple of weeks so I'm WATCHING the mail big time lately and so both of us are nervous wrecks! When I was a immigrant here 15 years ago, I never had this kind of forum or web information so I am so glad that there is more empowerment this time ...more information....

Good luck everyone!

Good luck on your journey!

You've completed a big task of it! I found that focusing on the stuff needed for the next step (interview) helped some time pass after sending in I-129F. But since I still don't have NOA2, I'm moving on to filling out paperwork for AOS. At least doing something to help with future parts of the journey may be one way to get around not having patience... cause you'll be too busy being active.

You mean you haven't completed the AOS paperwork yet?? I finished that this morning. Hmmm, Does that make me obsessive? :D :D

Sounds like you have what you need; may need extra money for a trip back to see you sweetheart. I hope to join the K1 process in the next month.

I truly wish that was in the cards right now. Right now I'm working 2 jobs to save up for the tickets and fees right now for Oksana and her daughter. Can I interest you in a magazine subscription?? :)

Best wishes for a speedy approval!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I would take the advice of others and start to dabble with next steps...it helps to occupy the time and makes you feel like you are doing something regarding the process. Really waiting in lines at various unamed Orlando theme parks is more frustrating than this wait.

Okay, maybe I am not that far gone, but it would be in character for me.

Still waiting for Uncle Sam to finish with this year's taxes so I can get all the transcripts at one time, but I have definitely started gathering all the information. My brain feels like it is going to explode some days with all the Acronyms.

My Fiancee is already frustrated with me because I am talking about AOS and we haven't even received our NOA-1 yet
