Hi INCT , thanks for joining us here. Please fill up your timeline here , it makes us awate of each other more and thus helps us to answer your questions. So you aew saying you have recieved MSC numbers today for I-765 and I-485. So you hav`nt recieved NOA for I-130 yet .

With the MSC numbers some can see their online status, some cannot. In some cases people even get their Green Cards and their status never comes online.

I called out USCIS yesterday regarding my status. They asked my numbers and confirmed that by applications are being processed and the background checks is being done. When i said when can i see my sstatus online, the representative clearly told, he cannot give may confirmation regarding that...it may or may not.

For you , now just sit tight and wait... You shd get your NOA for I-130 and then after the Biometrics letter.

Keep in touch and dnt hesitate to ask here....... we will all be in touch.

Thanks. :D

I'm really interested in how everyones case is progressing. We just mailed our AOS. I didn't even think that we wouldn't be able to check our status online. That's really frustrating but I guess I'ld rather they have more people processing forms than updating online cases.

Congrats INCT for hearing news!

I came with a B1/B2 visa from Canada (I am just a Canadian resident, not a citizen; I am Romanian citizen) on Sept 19, 2008. My I-94 was valid till March 19, 2009.

We got married on November 28, 2008 and sent " The package" on March 2nd, 2009.

On March 12, 2009 the check was cashed and March 13, 2009 i received NOAs for I-130, I-131, I-485 and I-765.

On March 16th I received the appoint. for biometrics (March 27th, 2009) but i went earlier and did it March 18, 2009.

I am still unable to check the status online using the MSC #. I did not receive anything else since biometrics appoint.

Good luck to all of you & short and happy waiting!

Hello Everybody, Christera22: I got the AP three days ago Christera22. No EAD. It will be exactly 90 days today from the date CRIS received my AOS file for EAD/AP/I-485. Should I call and place a service request of go for an Infopass. Also, does CRIS count it from the day of Receipt or day they send out the NOA's.

hmmm as far as I have seen here EAD comes 90-95 days. Now you can nake an infopass appointment but i wont advice to you to make any service request . As far i saw in your timeline, service request wd make your case more prolonged. I dont think CRIS makes any counting. BUt then did you call them asking about EAD ?? most probably they told you 90 days and nothing else. Right ? Let us know ...BUt i dnt think making an infopas appointment wd hurt. Do you know if your background check is over or not ? I heard sometimes certain names from certain countries get stuck in namecheck. Let me know ...what they said.

Thanks

Placed a service request. The lady said She would place a request for an Interim EAD Card. Now everybody here is telling me there is no such thing as an interim EAD and CRIS discontinued it in '06. I also Registered for an Infopass Appointment which is for the 30th Of April. I have 15 days till the Infopass Appointment. Lets see if there is any productive result regarding my Service Request by then. I am sure Pakistan falls in a category where background checks are thorough, but my name surely isn't. But The last time I called to inquire about my case, the Officer whom I spoke to seemed to be the Immigration Officer as the First lady transferred my call to this person and he seemed to have access to my file. He said he could see that my I-485 had received the Finger prints. That means, the Biometrics had come through, otherwise they would still be pending at the FBI office for background checks.

hi guys -- this didn't seem like a big enough deal to post as a separate topic, but is there anything we should all be doing now that we've filed AOS? Our case is still not online (which I read is normal enough, so I'm trying to be patient), but my husband's biometrics appointment is May 1st and after that, I'm not aware of anything that requires our attention until we hear about the interview (assuming we don't get any RFEs). Does anything requiring our participation happen between biometrics and the interview that I should be planning for? Goodness, after all the stressing I did over our AOS package, I feel empty without something to worry about, haha :D

Anyway, any clarification/insight would be great -- The AOS guide seemed slightly inconsistent with what I've been seeing in peoples' timelines, and as I'm sure you can all agree, this process is too important to not be on top of things. In the meantime, good luck to all -- we've been subscribed to this thread and reading all your posts as they come in, and are rooting for all of you!
