Finally after few days… I am able to post my AOS interview experience here.. Interview was on July 30, 8:30 am at the Newark office.. Besides the fact that I could not sleep right the night before everything went great. We got there, gave the appointment letter at the window and then the waiting begun. We waited about 45 min before we were called, all that waiting was making more nervous.. Then finally my name was announced, we went to the office. The IO was in her late 20’s very serious face, when I saw her face, I was already thinking, God please help me… But then she warmed up and I felt more comfortable. She asked to see my passport, I-94 and husband’s drivers license. She asked very basic questions. Name, address, date of birth of my husband, how we met, date of our marriage.. and my husband the same questions.. She asked if we had photos that she wanted to see… She looked briefly through the albums. She asked if I had any bonafide documents. I gave her tax return, bank statements and phone bills. She said that she was satisfied with everything and she was going to approve our case. When she said that word approved, my heart started beating so fast. I was so excited and happy that I wanted to start jumping… of course I did not do it.. at least not there.. lol So later at night I checked online and saw that my case was approved, today I got the letter saying the petition was approved and the card should be arriving shortly.

Overall the experience was great, I went there with my mind prepared for anything and everything, I had tons of documents. And in the end, it was so easy… For everybody that still need to go through the interview process , do not panic, if your marriage is legit you have nothing to worry about.

Saspak just hang on in there.. you will be receiving good news too.. My prayers are with you..

congrats, kpic!

We just got approved at our interview this morning. I posted our experience in the forums a few minutes ago in case anyone's interested, although I think we're sort of bringing up the rear for the March AOS filers, ha ha.

Best of luck to all -- we're thinking of you and will be able to really enjoy this once we know that everyone's issues have been resolved as well!
