What makes you want to bring your fiance to the U.S.... instead of relocating to his/her native country?

(I posted this in the Your New Life in America Forum because I thought it fit there pretty well.. but if you're like me, the K-1 forum is pretty much the only one you check, and seeing as how K-1=you're bringing your fiance to the U.S., it does directly apply to you!)

Better opportunities for wifey in her home country but we decided better opportunities for BOTH here, which I believe is what marriage is all about anyways.

We have left open the option for going back sometime in the future, but no immeadiate plans. I would like to retire in her home country (Brazil).

We discussed at great length "who" was going to move. In the end, in made more sense financially for me to make the move. He has a good job that he loves, mine is ok. He loves his hunting, and hunting to him would be limited here in Nova Scotia, Canada. And I guess more importantly, he's one of 8 siblings, who are all married with big families. The family is very close and do the holiday celebrations and such. I am very close to my parents, but there are two of them, much cheaper for travelling. I have two brothers that I see a few times a year. They might make the trip to Wisconsin, but I doubt it. His family is very welcoming of me so I am hoping that this will help with the transition. I know I'll no doubt have rough days.

Because I spent 6 months in India, and it was too freakin' hot  but if all plans fail, then I will be the one to move. He asks me to move there at least once a month since I have been back home, but I am afraid I will melt. Maybe later we will spend winter months in India, and remaining 9 here. Only God knows.

He joined the army, so we decided that that is where we'd spend our lives in the USA and have our children there. And once we retire, we'd become snowbirds. Canada in the summer and the United States in the Winter. Haha. :D

I would be stoked to live in Bali, and Syelvia would be stoked to live in America, so either way, all is good.

I live in Hawaii, which is a great place to live, and I have a large network of friends waiting to assimilate her into the crew.

My dream scenario would be for us to live in America during our winter and in Bali during our summer. That's gonna be the goal.

We plan on gonna back to Philippines and live part time in a few years, and hopefully in 10 years we can be living in Philippines on permanent basis.

We are here now cuz I can earn so much money here, and she can be a Registered Nurse in USA for the work experience.

Get her all legal in USA so she can come and go, and we start planning our life and future in Philippines.

Aw, my family is 4 times bigger than his and my life is more established here in France, but I've always dreamt of working in America and he is still a student.

Two pretty good reasons for me to go through the K1 process and be with him in the US.

Et alors je viendrai à vous, telle une goutte illimitée vers un océan sans bornes.
