To the OP -stop going on like you are a victim of something and you are the only couple that has had to prove a bona fide relationship, EVERYONE has to. The only person making it ALL about an inter racial marriage is you!

IT IS KKK mentality because they are saying you are fraud if you marry someone that does not have the same skin color as you. That's racism not fraud.

It certainly would be if anyone was saying that. Ironically, it is you who is actually saying it. Doesn't that really make you the racist?

Get a hold of yourself and ditch the victim mentality. My wife and I sailed through the process just fine despite the fact that our age gap is just over 10 years, that she's black while I'm white, that she comes from what should by any standard be considered a country where a lot of immigration fraud takes place, that I am an immigrant myself who came here based on a marriage that later failed and that we have obvious cultural background differences seeing that I am German and she's Ethiopian.

Based on what you are suggesting here, we wouldn't have had a chance on earth getting her over here. And yet, we've had - aside from the sometimes extensive processing times at the Service Centers - no problems at any step of the way. We never experienced anything but courteous and professional treatment at the Consulate or any one of the USCIS offices we have visited over the years.

Apparently the OP is adjusting status, so they're through the worst of it already. They might luck out and not even have an AOS interview.

I'm the USC.

11/05/2007........Conditional permanent residency effective date.

01/10/2008........Two-year green card in hand.

08/08/2009........Our son was born <3

08/08/2009........Filed for removal of conditions.

12/16/2009........ROC was approved.

11/05/2010........Eligible for Naturalization.

03/01/2011........Separated.

11/05/2012........Eligible for Naturalization.
