Wow. I guess all the June filers are getting transfered. Does it mean VSC is moving along well with the April filers and into the May.

Wish VSC updates their Processing time often and let us know where they are at.

Not all June filers got transfered, like the one I am. And, no to mention, only the case with I-130 have been transfered..I have freaking I-129f as well....So, I don't know...Hope to see something really soon. I have question those who got transfered... When did you last get update in the USCIS.GOV website?

Not all June filers got transfered, like the one I am. And, no to mention, only the case with I-130 have been transfered..I have freaking I-129f as well....So, I don't know...Hope to see something really soon. I have question those who got transfered... When did you last get update in the USCIS.GOV website?

My last update on the USCIS website was on 12/17/2008

Some good news. There has been some more transfers from VSC to CSC on 17th December. Please post here if you have been transfered in December 2008.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! We got transfered to Cali on Dec 17 as well. Hopefully this will move all of us closer to our loved ones fast:).

My Visa journey:

Married August 10, 2007 in NYC

I-130 mailed to VSC via Chicago: March 13, 2008

NOA1 received: March 24, 2008

NOA2 received: May 22, 2008 (Approved yaaaaay!!!)

DS3032 choice of agent generated: June 14, 2008

Mailed Choice of Agent: June 14, 2008 (and emailed the NVC as well with my Choice Of Agent hoping to speed up things a bit)

Hubby received IV bill: June,2008

DS3032 entered the system: June 23, 2008

Thought my child needed the same papers as I did so we petitioned for him and decided to let his papers reac NVC before taking further action, but discovered he is indeed eligible for U.S citizenship- 7 months wasted arrrrrghhh! NOW WE ARE IN A HURRY! :)

i'm confused

why is it so great to be moved from VSC (vermont service center) to the CSC (california service center)...?

does the CSC have much faster processing times or something?

Vermont is currently working on Feb./ March NOA1 Cases and they are so backed up right now. People who get transferred to California get approved with in a month. Yeah so California process times are way faster. My case was at VSC since June and this was the transfer I needed cause no touches or actions for 6 months. I hope to get an approval with in the next 30 days.
