Should I Report a Scam Artist to INS?

Hi,

I recently found out that my "fiancee" is a scam artist who was not only engaged to me but other foreign men at the same time. I had been sending her money on a monthly basis since she accepted my marriage proposal, but have been growing increasingly suspicious as to why she kept delaying sending me the paperwork to begin the K-1 visa. After flying all the way down to Colombia to visit her I learn that she has been dating other men, is living with another American man who she has been engaged to almost since my last visit, was engaged to yet another American man at the time I met/began dating her thru a marriage agency, and had been engaged 4 times to foreign men prior to me, and regularly requests money from foreign men.

Lucky for me I found out before applying for a K-1 visa. My question is, should I report her to INS incase she ever applies for a K-1 visa in the future and would it do any good if I did? I don't want her to do to anyone else what she has done to me. And would any action I take negatively affect me if I should apply for a k-1 visa in the future? Would it be best to just right it off as a learning experience and move on?

OMG! I am sorry about your ordeal. I guess its just right that you should report her name to the USCIS so they are aware about that girl.

Not much you can do, USCIS is concerned only with pending petitions, not ones that MAY get filed.

If you met her on an online site, you can report her to them, and perhaps they will cancel her account.

I would move on and consider your self lucky you didn't marry her.

If you meet another woman in another country you can always have her investigated.

What a thing to say, for so many people with happy marriages who have met online. For every one sad story like the OP's there are hundreds of bonafide couples living happy lives together. Not to diminish your happiness, but your story is not the end all be all to meeting the woman of your dreams. I also hope you see more in your fiancee than just a "coke bottle figure."

OMG Please tell me you are not being serious when you say what you have just said.. Alot of people meet on line and are legit . As far as having a look in the crowd and seeing the women all with coke bottle figures.. WOW .. I am sitting here looking at a coke bottle as I type and wondering what is soo exciting about that lol. I thank god I am not shaped like or compared to a coke bottle .. If I was your wife I would wonder if that is all you was looking for in a bride. Meeting people on line you fall in love with the person , the personality not the body or looks and it is real love from the heart not from the eyes. I am just shocked I guess to hear the comments you made. There is more to life then a perfect body geeesh. Yes I am no where near a perfect body and probally never will be but I have a great sense of humor, a big heart that has so much love to give and all around a good person so please think before you say things and I am american and guys out there us american girls keep you warm at night so dont forget that too lolol... THAT is not always true I met my fiance online and many have..YES it may be a breeding ground for scammers BUT scammers exist everywhere...EVEN when you visit someplace...even where YOUR fiance is from..they are from ALL countries EVEN in the USA. And not ALL mean like coke..some like sprite

Amen to that..i am HAPPY to say we met on an EMOTIONAL LEVEL and not a physical thinking with your privates and liking coke kinda level....plain and simple mate THAT was a VERY arrogent and jerkish statement.
