My husband's visa was approved today at his interview.. He said the interview was so easy and everyone at the Embassy was so great. We had all our papers in order according to the check list the Embassy sent. It took him about 15 minutes from submitting the packet to paying the delivery fee. Three other filers before him were denied. The guy even said it is very important to just have everything neat and in order. Thanks God we are done.. Now on to the point of entry.:thumbs:

Hi Jen

Congratulations! I am so happy for you....now you get to come back home!!!! Yippeeeee! When are you planning on arriving back in the US?

I have a question...how much is the visa delivery fee? I am assuming they accept cash for that.

I am glad to hear that the Amman embassy staff are being nice....Esmat has heard horror stories and there are many bad rumors going around about them. They need to shake that reputation. It sounds like they may be making an effort with your positive experience.

Thanks for sharing...and I will be so happy to welcome you home soon!

Deb

Deb

thanks for all the congrats, so happy I almost cried..

Hey Deb,

It cost us 5jds at the Aramex counter to have them send the passport and brown envelope. I will let you know if they charge anymore when they bring it...as for the Embassy I have experienced very nasty women who were Jordanians there. I actually had written and complained to everyone in the EMbassy from the then Ambassador to the state department. They have gotten a lot better since that experience. Hope you see your hubby soon.. Good Luck..
