Congratulations LaL!!!! Way, way long overdue but glad to hear that the wait is finally over!!!

... and patience pays off big time! I bet it's a 10-year GC... They can skip lifting conditions journey!!! :dance:

10/24/08: Received Interview Letter

12/08/08: Interview @ 1:00pm. APPROVED!

01/05/09: Oath Ceremony 10:00AM. Now officially a USC!!!

Thank you everyone! We are relived - although I do wish we knew that the namecheck cleared vs. being simply pushed through due to new regulations. Ah well :D maybe I will hit up my congressperson for that ;)...

Zsam - I didnt mean to exclude you at all in my hopes that aging files get adjudicated. I am pulling for you girl, and hope you are soon having the same feeling of relief. :star:

LaL- congratulations! Yes, it will be the 10 year card - you are well past the 2nd anniversary of marriage. What a relief it is to have that out of the way now. Again, Congratulations!

btw, did you do anything between your husband's biometrics renewal and today? like talk to a congressperson or schedule an infopass?

2/15/04--Married

4/2/04--AOS submitted

8/23/04--Interview in Chula Vista, CA (approved pending name check)

5 EADs, 3 APs, multiple Senators' inquiries and infopass appts, 2 AOS biometrics,

and one move to Seattle later...

3/3/08--AOS Biometrics renewal in Seattle

6/9/08--10 year green card arrived in the mail. My husband is no longer in immigration limbo and is a realio, trulio permanent resident! It says he's been a resident since 04/17/2008.

1/17/11--Apply for Citizenship

What great news!!!!!!! I've been waiting to see this news for you! Congratulations! This is FINALLY your time!

You should get a 20 year or longer green card for having to wait so darn long.
