* 1 dozen eggs

* 2 teaspoons dijon mustard

* 1/3 cup mayonnaise

* 1 Tbsp minced onion or shallot

* 1/4 teaspoon tabasco

* Salt and pepper

* Paprika

Using a fork, mash up the yolks and add mustard, mayonnaise, onion, tabasco, and a sprinkling of salt and pepper. Spoon egg yolk mixture into the egg white halves. Sprinkle with paprika.

that is a somewhat basic recipe but you can add different stuff to it...

Me too!!! I might have to go home and eat some, hopefully managing to not eat 12 (although I am preggy too so who knows!!!)

I usually add a dash of hot sauce to mine also and use dijon mustard if I can, but regular yellow works fine if I don't have dijon.

i love deviled eggs! I have 2 versions:

*mix the yolk with olive oil, salt, pepper, mayo and a bit of mustard.

*mix the yolk with deviled ham or pate foie (you can also add a bit of mayo if you'd like)

decorate with a bit of parsley, or half an olive (cut lenghtwise)

yum yum yum :thumbs:

Deviled Eggs a la Moi ;)

Hardboil eggs, cut in half lengthwise, take out yolk. In a bowl break up yolks w/ fork, add dijon mustard, pate de foie gras (or any kind of pate) salt/pepper to taste and a little mayo if needed. Scoop a teaspoonful of this mixture in the egg-whites.

In a separate bowl, mix some mayo, sour cream, a little semi-sweet white wine( but W. as you're pregnant you can use lemon juice) and a little milk or whipping cream. The idea is to get a slightly tart smooth cream, which you then pour over the the stuffed eggs.

Enjoy!

I just love it. Joe's Aunt taught me how to make it and even had them for Christmas 2007 when I was still in the Philippines.

Hard boiled eggs, mustard, pepper, mayonaise and salt to taste.

Cut the hardboiled eggs to half. Get the yolk, mash the yolk and mix with mustard, mayonaise ( little of both), pepper and salt to taste and you might add a bit of sugar. Mix and stuff the yolk back to the egg white. yummyyyyy

A sample of the Deviled eggs I made last thanksgiving :). My stepsons ( 5 and 6 ) helped in stuffing back the yolk so a bit messy :)
