Hi Everybody:

I was just offered a job that I had been interviewed for on Wednesday and I'm ABSOLUTELY THRILLED!!!!!!

It's a part-time city government job, working in the abused women's and children's legal division, so it should definitely be interesting and challenging.

I have been unemployed since last November, and was getting quite discouraged with the job opportunities here in the Seattle area. I just got off the phone with my husband, who is also a different city employee, and he was thrilled for me too.

I just wanted to tell you all my good news!!!!!!!! Now..... off to work I go on May 1st!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mar. 22/11.... N-400 sent to AZ

June 27/11..... Interview - PASSED!!!

July 12/11..... Oath Ceremony

9/9/05 I-130 APPROVED!!

2/13/06 CASE COMPLETE per NVC - got letter on 2/25/06

3/28/06 - INTERVIEW SCHEDULED FOR 5/2/06 @ 10:30 A.M.

Medical scheduled for 4/10/06 - everything went great!!

5/2/06 - INTERVIEW - APPROVED !!

5/20/06 - Crash came home to NY for good!!

3/28/08 check cleared bank

3/31/08 received NOA1-extension (dated 3/25/08)!!

03.04.2009......Ordered Police Certificate for Visa Purposes from Local Garda Office (ordered over the phone)

03.05.2009......I-130 received at Embassy

03.06.2009......Received Police Cert

03.18.2009......I-130 Approved

09.10.2009......Medical Exam

09.23.2009......Embassy receives Notice of Readiness

10.13.2009......Received our interview date

10.29.2009......Successful interview!

11.5.2009........Visa received in post

11.7.2009........All the family flew to the US together :)

12.20.2009......Received Welcome to America letter

12.24.2009......10 year Greencard received in the mail

First visited Chris in the USA~ 20/10/2005

Engaged~ 28/11/05

Sons father changed his mind - does not want me to take him with me - he is ignoring all attempts at communication. Sent letter to his solicitor with regards trying to mediate come to some arrangement with contact - waiting to hear back!!

18/02/2006 ~ 1 Year anniversary

13 April 2006 We got married

kids had second lot of vacinations!

End of June 2006 filing I130 ~ Change of plan, he is leaving the military and coming here to live and study for his degree, then we all move back to USA ~ solves problem of battling to bring my son, for now anyway.

SO the long distance relationship continues until Feb 2008 at least!!

December 13, 2007 - I-751 submitted to NSC (removing of conditions fun begins...)

December 22 - Received a rejection notice because the form was not "properly signed". Package itself was not returned.

January 1, 2008 - Received packet back from CSC. They are requesting we resubmit the packet (which is already organized by CSC) with a properly signed form.

January 2 - Packet resubmitted to California.

January 12 - NOA1 received (dated 01/07/2008)

January 19 - Biometrics appointment notice received (dated 01/15/2008)

February 1 - Biometrics

March 11 - Approved! Card production ordered (notified via e-mail).

March 20, 2008 - New card arrived in the mail :)

Done until 2018 :)
