USCIS CASE STATUS down?

I'm trying to check my case status buts it's givinge an error.

Anyone know what the problem may be? Is this just me or everyone out there?

It happens. They might be updating or maybe the Internet in your area is just being weird. Nothing to worry about.

The internet is definitely not down in my area. And they havnt posted that their doing maintenance

The processing time is working, however the case status has being showing error  message for the past 3hrs. Am 100% it has  to be a system problem from USCIS.

May be they will restore the system with approval on our cases. Hahhaha

Same, dude, same.

 

As for the website, just give it some time. Websites malfunction sometimes.

If you haven't already, create an account at the "new" site at https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ and add your case to it (yes, the one-time password every time you log in is very annoying).

It's much more likely you'll see an update on your case there. You're a February 2018 filer; there's almost no chance the old case tracker site (or mobile apps that use the same data) will provide any information on your case.

Just called and check with the USCIS automated machine. Gave me the same old new. I guess this just the website glitching

That's the old one which will eventually be phased out.

Meh. I dont mind the OTP.

 

Whats more bothersome is that the OTP field is marked as a regular field and not a secure filed. This means, each time I login, chrome autofill remembers it and prompts me to autofill with old OTP.

As far as I can tell there was an issue with resolving the old name, it was not an issue with anyone's Internet. In any case it does appear to be resolved now. I use Authy app which has desktop version that can autofill OTP fields.
