B-1 Visa while I-130 in process ... What to say at the interview ?

My I-130 for my wife is in process with PD February 18th at Texas service center.

 

She is thinking of applying B-1 visa so she can visit me during this process. She has a high paying job and her family lives in Pakistan also ( strong ties back home ) . one of her brother is studying in San Francisco.

 

If she applies for B-1 Visa what should she say at the interview the main reason of her visiting USA ?

 

Is she visiting me ( her husband ) or going to see her brother or just going to USA for tourism ?

 

I understand there is a high risk of denial but worth the try.

The full truth and nothing else. If she lies about having/visiting  a US husband, that will come back to haunt her when interviewing for her immigrant visa. She may then be denied for previous misrepresentation.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

4/28/16: Interview (approved)

Delayed entry due to work

8/12/16: POE Detroit

9/14-18/16: Received 3xpaper NOAs 

9/23/16: Received biometrics appointment letter (day 11)

10/3/16: Biometrics appointment (day 19)

11/4/16: EAD+AP approved (day 53)

11/16/16: EAD status changed to card shipped (day 65)

11/17/16: EAD/AP combo card received (day 66)

12/30/16: Notice of interview scheduled (day 109)

2/1/17: AOS interview (day 142) - APPROVED

2/8/17: GC received (day 150)

The truth.

 

The main reason for her coming to the US is to see you.  Come on.  Don't insult people's intelligence.  The US Government is not stupid.  They have seen people play this stupid game many time.  Their job is to spot people lying to get visas.  NO ONE WOULD BELIEVE THAT YOUR WIFE IS COMING TO THE US TO VISIT HER BROTHER BUT NOT YOU.  NO ONE BELIEVES THAT SHE WANTS TO COME TO THE US FOR TOURISM AND NOT SEE YOU.  Laughable.
