Congratulations, MaxG!

And, there is nothing to worry, Klitt3rJ.

As yo can see from my timeline below, it took a day or two longer for my notification to arrive, and it was even longer for others. One or two days is nothing compared to the long anticipated gap between NOA1 and  NOA2 that still awaits us.

01/03 - I-129F package sent via FedEx
01/04 - I-129F package received at USCIS Lewisville, TX facility

01/12 - NOA1 - e-mail and text message stating that the case has been accepted and routed to California Service Center

  • 01/03/17 --- I-129F mailed to Lewisville, TX
  • 01/04/17 --- Delivered at Dallas lockbox
  • 01/12/17 --- NOA1 text and email
  • 01/12/17 --- NOA1 date on hard copy notice
  • 04/28/17 --- NOA2 notification
  • 05/16/17 --- NVC received date
  • 05/17/17 --  NVC case #
  • 05/19/17 --  NVC file on transit

Yes.  It take quite a bit of time between NOA1 to NOA2.

I've heard the break down of WAC number has changed and that is why it is way off. I would not be to concerned about it.

Congrats on step 1.

Hey guys, received my NOA1 electronic notification yesterday on 1/16 by text & email.

Only thing is now I suspect I will get a RFE due to some forgotten questions on the forms. :(

Good luck fellow Visa Journeyers!

We just started this process but the hards  part  is waiting and  hoping  if all paperwork is complete and doubting yourself and wondering if you missed in a thing.
