Our interview is next week. But I have to return to the states for work. What is the POE and Do I need to return with him, and there is a fee? Does he pay that at the POE.. Please help we made this far and now Im confused.. :cry::crying::clock:

Point of Entry.

It is the US airport where your fiancé will come to first in the USA.

The visa fee will be paid at the embassy. There is no fee to pay after that. Check to see if your fiance needs a transit visa especially if there are no direct flights coming from her originating country.

Poe port of entry is first city of a state or territory of usa your husband will land at

there he will give the imigration the seal packet with his papers

no you do not have to be there. My wife is also flying without me

the fee i believe you are refering to is the 165 dollar processing of greencard fee it can be paid online before your husband leave or it can be paid when your husband is in the usa it is best to pay it before he leaves

OP won't have to pay anything at POE..

The sections of your first post in bold and red are not valid. Fees related to the visa itself will have been paid to the NVC, there will be no fee to pay to the Embassy. There may be a courier fee to return the passport but that varies country to country. Also, immigrant visa holders have to pay a card production fee to USCIS after their visa has been issued, granted no one has to pay anything at the POE but to say "there is no fee to pay after that" was not correct as it relates to the OP's situation.
